Colony BMX – Cadets Backyard Session

March 15, 2024

The future of BMX is looking real bright!

Over the past 5 or so years, the quality of the 12″, 14″, 16″ and 18″ bike options have really expanded, giving younger riders better options to get into BMX at an earlier age. One of the brands that has put a lot of effort into that is Colony BMX. Now we’re seeing unreal levels of progression from these kids. Here’s a video where Colony invited a few of those cadets over to ride the ramps, and they absolutely RIPPED IT UP. Hit play to watch these young guns throw down some heavy moves.

“Some of our young Colony Cadets came and rode the backyard for what turned out to be an epic session.

Sit back and watch locals Koby Clayton and Raf Manning as well as Chiaki Masui, all the way from Japan, tear up the ramp in a way like only they can.

A New Era For Strictly BMX

March 13, 2024

Colony’s Clint Millar has bought Strictly BMX shop!

Here’s a little industry news for you! Strictly BMX Shop was recently put up for sale, and the one and only Clint Millar has bought it to keep things rolling down in Australia. As most of you know, Clint also owns Colony BMX and its sub brands Division and Academy, along with Family Distribution that is a distributor and shop, so he has just a little bit of experience with this sort of thing! Above is a short video where Clint has a few words on the change. It sounds like a new team and plenty of other good things to come, so expect to see more from Strictly BMX in 2024.

“When I found out that Strictly BMX was up for grabs late in 2023 I knew I had to make moves to continue the legacy.

Since 1996 Strictly BMX has been in the forefront of the BMX retail space here in Australia. From being the first to enter the online retail world in BMX, to clever marketing, an amazing team of riders, running unique BMX events plus the largest range of BMX bikes & parts in Australia with fast & efficient mail order.

We have relocated Strictly BMX to the Brisbane / Gold Coast region with a whole new showroom.

Strictly BMX has a deep history & one that we will continue to grow forward in the years ahead.

Welcome to a whole new era of Strictly BMX.” – Clint Millar
