If you follow Ryan Nyquist on Instagram, you might have noticed that he’s been dabbling in mountain bikes for a little while now, and it looks like he’s starting to take it a little more serious because he’s planning on competing in BMX and mountain bike contests this coming year! Here’s a rad video giving us a look at Ryan throwing down on both bikes, along with giving us some insight into his decision to pursue both ventures this year. Based off this video alone, we have pretty good confidence that Ryan will find a couple podiums in both BMX and mountain bikes this year.
Fox BMX – Womens BMX Jam In ATX Video
Here’s a short but sweet BMX video that Fox dropped online from the Womens Jam weekend that hit the Walnut Creek Pumptrack for a session. Nina Buitrago gives us a little insight while we get a look at some of the riding footage.
“The first ever Fox Women’s BMX Jam kicked off at the Walnut Creek Pumptrack here in Austin, TX bringing over 40 girls along with the majority of the Austin BMX scene present to show their support. Although we are lucky to have one of the largest girls BMX scenes here in Austin, it’s not everyday that we all get to come together for a session, and plan ahead enough for girls from all over to join us!

Here’s a behind the scenes look at a new BMX video that will be dropping Monday courtesy of DIG featuring Fernando Laczko in Spain! One Minet Park Montage
Here’s a real solid BMX video that Luke Petty put together featuring four years of footage from the One Minet Skatepark over in the U.K. Although this video has some amazing riding, as it progresses you start to see fewer and fewer riders turning out for the sessions. It’s kind of that tragic thing that happens in BMX as one generation moves on, but the next is slow to start. I’d imagine with a park like that, it won’t be long before it gets a good revitalization of riders again.

Solid Bikes – Charlie Bugenig Video
There’s been a little life flairing back up on the Solid Bikes website the past few days. This BMX video featuring Charlie Bugenig putting in some time at a handful of different skateparks was one of those things. Watch as Charlie takes a cruise and throws down a few unique clips like the ass grind on the rail! The film work is a little rough around all the edges, but it’s still a good watch!
