Animal Bikes – Past, Present and Future: Part 2

October 2, 2015

Man, Epic TV are really taking their time to release these sections! Finally, we have part two from the Past, Present and Future feature on Animal Bikes where Ralph Sinisi talks a little bit more about the past of Animal, then jumps into future projects they have going. Since this was filmed a while back, we would imagine there’s a more specific plan in the works, but it will be good to see Animal getting a jump start again. Take a look!

Did you miss part one? Watch part one here: Animal Bikes – Past, Present and Future: Part 1

“Pick back up on the history lesson with part 2 of Past, Present and Future with Animal Bikes. Ralph picks back up with the history of the brand, specifically how their early video releases affected the progression of both the company and street riding. Then he covers the evolution of the team, their approach when designing new parts, and his outlook for the future of the company.” – Epic TV

Haro Bikes – Ryan Nyquist 2015 Video

October 1, 2015

Now THIS is a BMX video that, even if you don’t ride trails, is incredibly easy to get stoked on. Haro Bikes dropped this new video of Ryan Nyquist taking his incredibly deep bag of tricks to a handful of trails in Northern California where he calls home. This has a ton of his classics along with a bunch of new combos you probably have never even seen! You’ll want to watch this more than once to process all the combos.

“Ryan Nyquist is 36 years of age. Some of the tricks he filmed for this video are his most difficult and they’re all part of his greatest hits collection reserved for contests runs. Some of Ryan’s signature tricks have been contest winners over the past 20 years.

Look for a few brand new ones too like the truck to suicide to bar, 360 barspin-and-a-half to 360 barspin-and-a-half on the next set, cannonball to barspin and nothing to suicide.

Ryan really hasn’t lost any tricks over the years and here’s proof.

Ryan’s bike of choice is the Haro Lineage.

Video by Christian Rigal filmed in Northern California. ”

“Hiking and Biking on the Oregon Trail with Tom Villarreal.

Tom Villarreal is all about the vibe and this edit gives off the best of vibes. While heading north and avoiding the dangers of the Oregon Trail, Tom was able to see some beautiful sites as well as film some beautiful clips. There are some classic spots in here and some new ones, but Tom uses all of them in the way he knows best: like a badass.

Merritt – Justin Care Upload Stem Promo

October 1, 2015

Merritt finally got around to uploading this Justin Care signature Upload stem promo to their channel, and damn are we glad they did. Justin fires out banger after banger from technical grinds to huge drops. Get on that play button and enjoy this BMX video!

“We are Re uping Justins Stem promo from a little while back since the new splatter colorway of his stem and all the other new splatter parts just dropped.

Justin Care is incredibly good at riding a bicycle. You may not have noticed, but that doesn’t make it any less true. Within this stem promo you will find gaps to flat so large that I felt inclined to contact the CTBUH and flat ledge grinds so technical that Yngwie Malmsteen couldn’t play them on guitar. Perhaps most importantly this video exists to highlight (and provide valuable insight into) Justin’s new signature stem, which much like the tip of the Washington Monument, is made of aluminum and exudes a sort of masculine, almost phallic vibe. Buy it now.

“Justin wanted a top load stem that could be run upside down and still raise your bars. Best of both worlds, clean looks and rise. Going with forged 6061 aluminum construction for both the body and cap produced a super strong stem with a design that wouldn’t be feasible with machining and also keeps the price low. 48mm reach and 21mm rise.””
