Product: Colony BMX – Alex Hiam Sweet Tooth Frame

Colony released this short but sweet promo featuring Alex Hiam to promote the 2016 version of his signature Sweet Tooth frame! This frame is made from 4130 chromoly with a 75.2-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube, 11.5″ bottom bracket height and 13.25″ chain stay length. You can find features like a heat-treated integrated head tube, a gusset on the down tube, a tapered top tube, down tube, seat and chain stays, a heat-treated MID bottom bracket, an extra-wide rear end to fit the 2.40″ tires easily, removable brake mounts, an integrated seat post clamp and 5mm thick heat-treated CNC machined drop outs.

The Sweet Tooth frame comes in top tube lengths of 19.8″, 20.4″ and 20.7″ with color options of gloss black, ED green and Midnight blue and a weight of 5.17 lbs. (20.4″).

Sneak Peek: Fly Bikes – Dark Gold Colorway

Fly Bikes just released a preview of their new Dark Gold colorway that will be dropping soon with their 2016 range! This is just one of their new colors they’re going to be offering this year and there’s no denying that it looks awesome. We also see their Classic rim with all of the drilled holes has made its way back to their line up! We’re sure some of you will be stoked on that.

Sneak Peek: Profile Racing X FBM – Limited Edition Mini Hub Colorway

With Interbike just two days away, we’re already starting to see some new products surface online to get the hype up! We just spotted this photo of Steve Crandall holding up a prototype of a Profile Racing X FBM collaboration colorway on Profile’s popular Mini cassette hub. Typically when a limited edition colorway comes out, Profile also offer the color on their Elite and Totem hubs, so there is a good chance we’ll be seeing this available on a few different hubs other than the Mini hub. We’ll find out more this week!

Interbike 2015 Predictions

As many of you know, September is a busy month for the BMX industry, and the entire bicycle industry, thanks to Interbike. Although the internet has made it MUCH easier for brands to communicate with shops, distributors and riders around the world, it is still one of those events that is good for everyone to come together and meet face to face and give shops and industry members an opportunity to take a closer look at what brands have been working on for the past year. We have been getting a few sneak peeks from brands over the past few weeks and it has given us a fairly rough idea of what we’ll be seeing at the tradeshow this coming week. Since this will be our 8th year visiting Las Vegas for the show, we figured it would be fun to put together some predictions as to just what we might expect to see as far as products go from BMX brands… So let’s take a look.

Fit Bike Co. – Morgan Long Hoodbird Promo

Fit Bike Co. released this new promo for Morgan Long‘s new signature frame, the Hoodbird, that is out now! This video is loaded with heat from the streets and some real unique film work making for a good watch! Definitely a BMX video you won’t want to skip on!
