One thing we really like about doing The Union lately is having the chance to watch a lot of talented riders putting out their own series of videos that are more than just trick, trick, trick and trick. We get to see a lot of personalities and get a little glimpse into how other BMX riders are living their lives. Thanks to Youtube, this has been increasingly more and more popular and it seems like every day there’s a new channel to subscribe to. One rider in particular that really has caught our attention lately is Jay Dalton, between his less than serious approach to BMX and his undoubtable talent to go from jib tricks like peg chings to hucking backflip tailwhips, you don’t really quite know what you’re going to see when he drops a new video. We were curious jus what Jay’s story was, so we hit him with some questions. Let’s see what he had to say!

Kyle White – First Blood

Can’t go wrong with a little BMX and Rambo! Check out Kyle White putting his pegs and freecoaster to good use on street spots while Rambo does work in the First Blood movie.

“Often, Kyle will be trying a trick over and over again in frustration, getting farther away from landing it. But with every battle there eventually comes a time where he just casually pulls the trick cleaner and more popped than anyone could ever hope for. This phenomenon needed to be documented for the world to see, so I made this; his first solo street video. After only a few months of bringing Kyle out to Vancouver to stay at my place on weekends, he beasted out a steezy section. You’re dealin’ with an expert.

Chandler Golden – Recovery Edit

It’s been a little while since we’ve seen a video from Chandler Golden, but it sounds like he’s been busy getting back into the swing of things after some down time due to a broken foot! Check out this rad BMX video Zack Gerber put together featuring Chandler going to work on street spots and skateparks around Chandler, Arizona!

Orange Juice x Vans – Nicky Van Der Veen Barcelona 2015

The Orange Juice crew just released this dialed new BMX video featuring Nicky Van Der Veen getting down in Barcelona, Spain! This has a great mix of spots, excellent riding and some rad film work. All in all, it’s one video well worth checking out!

James Heyes – Clutched

The Odyssey Clutch freecoaster has been getting a lot of positive feedback and it’s no surprise we’ve been seeing a bunch of people picking one up for themselves. James Heyes picked one up for himself and headed to his local park on a rainy day to stack a few clips and see how well it works. This isn’t all fakie footage which is rad because it looks like this hub is built to take all sorts of abuse.
