Mongoose AM Jam 2023 – Bentonville Bike Fest

Check out the Mongoose AM Jam stop at the Bentonville Bike Fest!

Some of the Mongoose team made their way to Arkansas for the Bentonville Bike Fest where the latest stop of the Mongoose AM Jam series went off. Here’s a look at what went down from the riders that came out for the event to riding from Kevin Peraza, Nikita Ducarroz and Matty Cranmer. A look back at the best of X Games Real BMX.

It has been a few years since the X Games held a new “Real BMX” contest, thanks to Covid, but they just released this new show looking back at all the best riding that went down over the years with Mike Escamilla, Dakota Roche and Calvin Kosovich. This is a super good watch because it’s easy to forget just how crazy these videos were. Take a look!

“Since 2016, the X Games Real BMX series has showcased the most innovative BMX street riding outside of the X Games competition venue, in a video competition that pits rider and filmer against the real-life elements of urban BMX street riding.

Each year, a hand-picked selection of the sport’s top BMX street riders submitted 90-second video parts, to be judged upon by their peers, in hope of taking home X Games gold. And in the process, the unpredictable and wildly progressive world of BMX street riding was given a platform for the world to witness. From technical handrail combinations to high speed roof drops, the riders of Real BMX demonstrated the many creative avenues taken within BMX street riding.

Now, with five years of successful competition and more than a few never-been-done moves to claim, X Games presents The Best of Real BMX: 2016-2021.

The other weekend the Fast and Loose crew premiered their new “Magnetar” video in Colorado. Some of the Cult team took a trip out for the jam and premiere, along with plenty of other sessions at a bunch of concrete parks, street spots, full pipes and more. Check out what they got into!

The crew at Odyssey have been working on their new Clutch Pro freecoaster hub for quite a while now, and it looks like it’s finally all dialed in and ready for everyone to give it a go. Here’s a short but sweet promo filled with a detailed look at the hub, along with some riding clips for good measure! The slack adjustment on this hub is pretty wild how much they’ve simplified things. Freecoasters have come a long way since the days of taking the hub completely apart and adding or removing spacers! Take a look.

“Introducing the CLUTCH PRO freecoaster hub. Yes, this is the hub that Matt Nordstrom, Dennis Enarson, Broc Raiford, Johnny Raekes and more have been riding for some time.

The evolution of our proven Clutch freecoaster hub continues. The Clutch Pro comes built with an all-new bearing equipped drag mechanism for smooth backpedaling and fast crankflips. Based on direct feedback from Odyssey team riders, the Clutch Pro also features all-new plastic guard designs. The drive side guard provides maximum coverage to the chain and spokes while eliminating the need to spread the frame’s dropouts during installation, which can be detrimental to the frame’s integrity. On the hub’s non-drive side, the guard makes use of a new shape for improved spoke coverage and durability. To adjust the hub’s slack, a new tool-free external button engages with an internally threaded adjuster, then simply rotating the wheel forward or backward increases or decreases the slack as needed. The Monster Energy Cash Up series continues! The second stop landed in Cologne, Germany where Monster and Felix Prangenberg threw the Hammer & Nails Fest! As expected, plenty of heavy moves went down and there was plenty of money getting thrown around. Hit play and check out the highlights. “The second Monster Cash Up Jam went down in Cologne, Germany. This one was organized by Felix Prangenberg and more of a street jam in a single spot, but damn, he crushed it. Here’s the highlights thanks to Grant Castelluzzo.
