I can’t remember the first time I heard of Andre, or the SBL crew. I know it was for a video of theirs on The Come Up or another site. Long story short, Andre emailed me one of his latest edits when I was helping out Adam, and figured he might have something interesting to say. While I was at the Dew Tour there was quite a bit of down time. The people over at Matador had a booth set up for Dennis to do an autograph signing, and asked if I would be into asking him a few questions. I decided it wouldn’t be a half bad idea. I just had to wait a bit while Dennis fought off all the high school chicks swarming him. Seriously, the kid is a ladies man. I really didn’t have any questions in mind so we kind of winged it. Dennis probably had a million questions thrown his way that day so I wanted to keep it short. Here is just a few questions and some photos I snapped during the weekend there.
I’ve been getting quite a few requests to do these “On The Horizon” pieces again, so I’m on it. Subrosa has been in the game for a few years now and it doesn’t appear to be slowing down. Ryan Sher has been keeping busy with everything, and I figure it was time to get the low down on what they have going on. Check out some words from Ryan along with some photos.
I had been hearing all these ridiculous things about the Banned 3 video and figured I better check this out. I knew the guys involved with the video were crazy and could party harder than this guy, so I had accepted I was going to see horrible things…. This is what I thought.

Here are the photos I didn’t use on Dig from the third day of the Dew Tour. This is the final day and quite the experience. I won’t lie, I am not a very good photographer. I had never shot an event like the Dew Tour before, and definitely not a vert contest before. I think as time goes on things might get better, but I don’t want people to get the impression that I think I am awesome. As time goes on, I hope I become awesome. So check out the photos, feel free to leave comments. I’ll take some critiques too but I may have valid reasons. At least for the vert haha.
Brian Kachinsky had a autograph signing for Action Village in the morning of the third day. I didn’t have anything to do so I came and hung out with him. Brian signed a poster for me with Vikings x’ed out. He’s from Wisconsin, and I am from Minnesota. So we got a bit of Vikings Packers rivalry. I shut him down when I asked him how he felt about Brett Favre playing for the Vikings this year. Brian is still the man though!

Its weird how BMX is. I remember being really stoked on the videos CB was posting on Bike Guide years back. We didn’t really ever talk very much on there or anything, but now its different. CB has really done a good job of keeping the video ass kicking game going with the AOTC videos him and Chris Z have been putting together. I had been talking to him a bunch lately about all the AOTC stuff and figured it would be a good idea to do an interview with him. It probably should have been done a while ago, but it’s done now. Here are some of the photos from the second day of the Dew Tour that I didn’t use over on Dig. These are some of the park prelim photos, and Dirt finals photos. There were quite a few “good” photos that I had to choose from to use for the Dig site, and even more I can use here. So check them out, leave some comments, and hopefully you are into a few of them.
One of my favorite photos from the day was this photo of Rob Darden doing this one hand table. He went down on the first one and it was rough, but his second was better.

I spent the last few days down in Chicago hanging out shooting photos and what not at the Chicago Dew Tour. I made a few daily updates on the Dig site incase you missed that. Day One | Day Two | Day Three. I just posted a few photos and some words and the places people got over there. I figured since I have a bunch of other photos left over that I might as well post. Some of them are a little blurry since its fairly hard keeping up with the guys hauling ass around the park. I’ll try and put a few captions in to explain some of the photos too. This will get broken down into 3 parts since it was 3 days and I had close to 150 photos that were fairly decent. So check them out and feel free to leave some comments.
