The Source Park – BMX Documentary: Ep. 3

The 3rd episode of The Source Park documentary showing what it took for Source BMX to open their massive underground skatepark and shop. This 3rd section shows the final stretch from construction to getting the ramps into the building to start the build of the park. It’s absolutely incredible what they had to go through to get this abandoned space turned into a park. There’s also some more back story on the Source BMX history that is awesome to see as well. Part 4 should be coming soon!

Over the course of two years, this story follows two brothers, Marc and Richard Moore during a huge restoration project based in the East Sussex coastal town of Hastings. Their idea was simple, to build the world’s largest underground skate park underneath the promenade of Hastings seafront inside a space that dates back to the 1800’s and has laid derelict for the past eighteen years.

“This video was filmed between early 2017 to late 2018, Andrew had just recently made the move from New Brunswick to Halifax and had a crazy eye for spots. Andrew is a powerhouse of a street rider and I hope this section demonstrates that. So many stories, beers and laughs behind so many of these clips. Enjoy.
