Tate Roskelley’s Amazing Quarantine Contraption – GT BMX
With a ton of places being shut down and a lot of us having some extra time on our hands due to being stuck inside, there has been some creativity going on to keep things interesting. Tate Roskelley decided to cook up the Quarantine Contraption to find a new, far more interesting way to install his front wheel on his bike. Hit play to watch the struggle of making this all work to actually getting it perfect. We can’t imagine how frustrating this got at times, haha. Either way, this turned out awesome!
“Forget experimenting in the kitchen, Tate Roskelley took his stay at home creativity to the next level with his Quarantine Contraption. The Quarantine Contraption is a complex machine comprised of random household items including a broom, mop, step ladder, Slinky, and a few things very specific to Tate’s house, including a traffic cone, street signs, and two GT BMX bikes.

X Games 2020 Minneapolis = CANCELLED

Here’s some news we had a feeling might be coming after hearing that the Vans BMX Pro Cup 2020 was CANCELLED yesterday. The X Games just sent through a short and straight to the point press release noting that X Games Minneapolis 2020 has been cancelled. The event was set to go off mid July, and with the way things are it looks like it was the right move.
This was the last year the X Games were set to be in Minneapolis, so it will be interesting to see if they extend the contract to 2021 or move on to their next host city! We’ll keep you posted once we hear more. We would assume this news will be further down the road since we’ll undoubtedly see decisions being put on hold until COVID-19 clears up.
“Due to the ongoing COVID-19 concerns, X Games Minneapolis 2020 – July 17-19 – has been cancelled. The safety of the athletes, staff and spectators is our top priority, and we will continue to closely monitor the situation for all X Games events.” – X Games

Lux BMX – Alex Hiam “Aeterna” B-Sides
The other week we got a look at Alex Hiam’s “Aeterna” Section, but it turns out he had a ton of great footage leftover. Instead of letting it go to waste, they whipped up this B-Sides with plenty of bangers that we’re amazi
“When Alex first got wind of filming for Aeterna he wasted no time between, life commitments, injuries and a pretty fully booked travel year(s). Alex was able to work with Mike Vockenson and created something awesome. Like most full-length DVDs there will always be “leftover, B-side” footage that never made the DVD. Alex had a great deal to choose from and as you will see the word B-side, doesn’t really match the footage. Press play and enjoy.” – LUX BMX
