Ruben Alcantara Discusses Fingers Crossed BMX

The other day a video surfaced online giving us the first look at Fingers Crossed, a new suspension BMX bike project that Ruben Alcantara, Garrett Byrnes and a few others have been working on. The video got a lot of attention, and there were A LOT of questions that came up from how are these bikes being made, will they go into production, what is the point of the bikes and more. The crew at Ride UK caught up with Ruben for an interview where he discusses all of those things in better detail, answering pretty much all questions we’ve seen pop up. One Love Jam 2020

Here’s a rad one we spotted over on Flat Matters from the annual One Love Jam out in California. This was the 10th annual flatland jam that has been going strong in New Port Beach. Hit play to check out highlights from all the riding that went down. Based on the video, it looks like there was a solid turn out from bikes of all sizes and they had a real good time! Check it!

Chimera A-Side BMX Park Finals Highlights

It’s pretty wild how the Chimera A-Side contest had $90,000 up for first place for park AND flatland, and there really hasn’t been a ton of footage from the contest popping up, yet. Here’s a highlight video from finals that shows all the bangers that went down in park finals. Brandon Loupos ended up taking the win and all that cash, so we would imagine he’ll be sitting nice all year.

Merritt BMX – Philly Trip

Some of the Merritt squad took a trip down to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania a little while back to stack some clips while out cruising the endless spots around the city. One Armed BMX Bandit – Jack Dumper

We’re always stoked to check out some new Jack Dumper footage. Despite having one arm, he is able to ride just like anyone else by simply tying off one end of his bars with a hoodie. Here’s his latest for United and Crucial BMX where he lays down a bunch of dialed moves at Campus Skatepark. That barspin where he lets the sleeve get spun around works so well. Definitely check this all out!
