Fingers Crossed BMX – Teaser

When Ruben Alcantara and Garrett Byrnes team up for a project, you know it’s going to be good. Ruben and Garrett teamed up with Mike Bennett and Ari Cruz to design some bikes that look like a BMX bike and a downhill mountain bike had a crazy night of drinking and 9 months later these bikes were born. These BMX bikes have full suspension and appear to be built to handle downhill mountain bike trails, regular BMX trails and more. We’re not sure if this means they will be getting these bikes produced or if it’s just a fun project, but we’ll definitely keep you posted! Hit play and take a look…

Kunstform – Felix Donat 2020 Video

Kunstform coming through with a fresh batch of footage featuring Felix Donat going to work on spots over n Germany to kick the year off right. Felix delivers plenty of dialed moves with grinds, big 360’s down stair sets, nose balance and more. The film work in this one is real solid as well, making for a BMX video you won’t want to pass up.

Can you make a BMX peg out of Bamboo? We already know you can build a BMX bike out of bamboo thanks to Mat Hoffman, but we aren’t too sure about pegs made from bamboo. Big Boy decided to head into the workshop and fabricate some bamboo BMX pegs and see how it all works out. Hit play and see how it all played out.

Red Bull – Courage Adams: Encouraged

This is intense. Red Bull took Courage Adams back to Nigeria where he was born. During the trip, he spent his time riding, meeting the locals, experiencing everything around him and more. Courage calls Madrid, Spain home these days, but going back to see how different the BMX scene is in Nigeria was definitely an eye opening experience. This documentary style video gives us a look at what was going on from start to finish with this trip, along with some riding and perspective. It looks like it was an amazing trip to us. Chimera A-Side – First Impressions

We’ve seen some pretty wild BMX contests over the years, but what we haven’t seen is prize money that would definitely make an impact. The Chimera A-Side contest going down in Japan this weekend has a first place prize of $90,000. Prize money amounts can be kind of secretive for big events like X Games, but we’re pretty sure this is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, payouts for a 1st place in a BMX contest, which is awesome to see. Here’s a raw cut of some first impressions and a bit of riding footage that Vital BMX put together. It’s interesting to see the reaction these guys get when they contemplate what they would do if they won. We’ll see if the money is going to push people to go bigger than ever before to win. Either way, there’s going to be a park rider and a flatland rider with a real nice chunk of change in their bank account to start off 2020.
