Inside Look At The Free Night Planetary Freecoaster Hub

There has been some buzz about the new Free Night Planetary Freecoaster hub that is a new design that combines a freecoaster and a cassette hub into one hub so you can freecoast backward, but still get the same feel as a cassette when you’re pedaling forward without the slack and need to engage / disengage the hub. Brant Moore got his hands on one of the hubs to get an in-depth look at the hub and do some riding with it. Here’s a video where Brant disassembles the hub to give you an inside look at the hub. Once the dust settled, Logan Martin took the win with Rim Nakamura and Jose Torres taking second and third place!
