Andy Maguire sent through a video he put together from the trip that he took with Mario Alonso across America from California to Pennsylvania and a bunch of places along the way like Chicago! This has a pretty laid back vibe, but it looks like the guys had plenty of luck finding things to ride along the way. Check it out!

“Here is the by-product of a month long road trip Mario Alonso and I embarked upon from July 9 – August 12. I think we drove through over 25 states, and got to shred in a majority of those. It was awesome to make this pilgrimage, and if you haven’t already, I’d highly recommend driving across the country. There’s so much to take in from this country we live in, both good and bad. But one trend that stayed pretty true was that BMXers are always down to help other BMXers; whether it was showing somebody around, giving tips on where to eat, or offering a place to stay, the BMX community is still a big fraternity that has your back. Andy Maguire decided to make your Saturday awesome by dropping this new split featuring him and Mario Alonso putting in some work out in the streets. This BMX video is packed with a good mix of tricks and spots keeping things interesting from start to finish. You won’t be disappointed.

“I feel like Mario and I have completely different styles, but consistently try to incorporate the element of surprise into our riding. Whether it be riding a spot in a strange way, doing a weird trick, modifying (or not modifying) a spot, or just riding away from something where the viewer is most likely thinking “That guy did that?”, our bikes have given us a means to let the underdog within us come out. Both of us got new bikes around the same time, so it only seemed fitting to cut loose the rest of the footage I had on my hard drive of our old whips. We are also driving a cross country tour of the US from July 9 – August 14th if anyone wants to meet up and ride; chances are, we’ll be coming to a city near you! Thanks for watching.
