Colony – Act Jam 2022

The annual ACT Jam down in Australia went off!

Every year the ACT Jam is 3 days of pure BMX madness down in Australia. Usually they hit 3 different parks and it’s a non-stop party and crazy riding each day. This year Backbone BMX moved it indoors. We’re not sure what happened to change things up, but it sounds like it was due to heavy rains. Either way, they somehow managed to get in inside a warehouse and had a bunch of ramps built up in time for the contest to go off. Here’s a video Colony put together featuring their team at the contest. As expected, these guys crushed it as always. We would imagine there will be more videos coming from the contest soon, so get stoked.

Here’s one we’ve been waiting to see pop up online for everyone to see just how good it is! The full “Ranch Hand” video that Brenan Boeck produced is an hour and 27 minutes of pure Australian BMX goodness. Back Bone BMX – Jonny Mackellar Week In Winter

While we’re enjoying the heat and sunshine up here in the northern hemisphere, the crew down in Australia have been dealing with winter. The cooler temps didn’t keep Jonny Mackeller from enjoying some riding time during a trip to Canberra. Check out a mix of trails, ramps and street riding that Johnny got in during his week long visit!

“We had the pleasure of hosting QLDer and Back Bone team rider Jon Mackellar over the first week of winter here in Canberra. Despite it being freezing cold, Jonny brought his longest socks and thickest shorts, as well as his badass riding style. We hit spots throughout Canberra, as well as travelling out to Young to ride Will Kerr’s spot.

Back Bone BMX – Bowl Roaming Down South

Some of the Back Bone BMX crew down in Australia loaded up for a road trip to ride a bunch of concrete parks! Here’s a look at what these guys got into while cruising bowls galore! It’s insane how many incredible parks Australia has to offer.

“The boys Danny Stevenson (AKA Weaponhead), Arthur Birbilopoulos and Will Gunn headed down to the border of NSW and Victoria to ride the new park in Albury. This got them roaming south in Victoria, where they travelled to new bowls and had a heck of a time. Last weekend of Autumn and they made the most of it.

Back Bone BMX – Rhysty’s Birthday Trail Jam

The Back Bone BMX crew threw a birthday jam for Rhys “Rhysty” Williams‘ 46th birthday down in Australia! The jumps were primed in and looked perfect, and there were a good turn out for a full day of riding and good times! Hit play and take a look!
