Strays BMX #8

Ben Austin sent through the latest round of his Strays photo series for everyone to enjoy! This 8th edition features photos from Ben, Taylor Stos and Chris Shellkopf, and features riding from Ben Polaschek, Jayden Lajeunesse, Lynden Chartrand, Zephyr Wadkins, Matty Millington, Josh Nendza, Hilario Olivos, Steve Tassone, Tucker Smith, Tony Resta, Brett Tocco, and Tristan Thomas! As always, although these photos didn’t have a home or a project they were dedicated to, they turned out rad. Hit the flipbook above to take in the photos! It’s rad to see some faces we haven’t seen in a while, along with a few familiar and a few we haven’t heard of!

We’re always stoked when Ben Austin sends through a fresh round of “Strays” to give everyone a look at a few photos he shot that didn’t have a home. This third round features Reed Stark, Johnny Atencio, Erik Elstran, Justin DeWitt, Glenn Dussl, Kyle Stark, Ryan Barrett and Cody Smiglewski getting down on spots around Minnesota and a few other places that Ben travelled to over the course of this summer! As always, Ben produces some amazing photos!

Skworl – Washed Up

It has been a little while since we’ve seen a BMX video out of the Skworl crew up in the Twin Cities area. That doesn’t mean these guys haven’t been out putting in the work, even though a lot of them are working real jobs and hitting that weekend warrior status. This is a mix of footage featuring Lee Mies, Nick Anderson, Eugene Serrato, Cole Nelson, Eric Holley, Boden Berg, Justin Dewitt, Dustin Arendt, Mike Gelle, Chass Uthe, Cody Smiglewski, Seth Smiglewski, Erik Elstran, Deljon Willis, Seth Peterson, Lucas Woodley, Reed Stark, Jacob Mullenix, Phlandus Alexander, Jake Demuth and Ben Austin, getting down at a bunch of skateparks and street spots this past summer. Good vibes and real solid riding. You can’t go wrong with this one!

Ben Austin coming through with another batch of photos that he has collected over the course of the past few months. This time around, we get a look at a few photos from Reed Stark, Seth Peterson, Erik Elstran, Colton Walker, Mike Hoder and more getting down on street spots, ramps and more around Minnesota and Seattle, Washington. As always, Ben ended up with some damn good photos that you won’t want to pass up! Check it out!

When you shoot BMX, you end up taking a ton of photos and sometimes even the good ones don’t find a home. Ben Austin has been crushing it behind the lens for a long time now and we’re always pumped when we get a look at some of the photos he shot. This morning, he hit us with a link to a new flipbook giving you a look at a few of the photos he was sitting on that needed a home featuring Reed Stark, Trey Jones and a few other getting down in Minnesota and Florida.

Photogallery: 2014 3rd Lair Jam

This past weekend was a busy one for Minnesota. Not only was this years BV JAM over the weekend, so was the annual 3rd Lair Jam that some of the locals up in the Minneapolis / St. Paul area throw! Our friend and photographer, Ben Austin made his way to the park to check out some of the good times that went down! He ended up with a bunch of photos from the day, so we figured it would be a good time for a new photogallery!

“3rd Lair just wrapped up their annual BMX jam, presented by the Skworl crew. This winter has been a historically cold one for the Midwest, and the local scene had been hurting for a chance to get together, hang out on the bikes, and have some fun. It was great to see all of the faces from near and far make it out. The contest went off without a hitch, and ended up being a really good time. Check out a few dimly lit photos from the day, enjoy!
