Volume Bikes caught up with Billy Perry to get his perspective on filming for the “Volume One” video that dropped the other week. Billy talks about some of his favorite clips and some of the challenges and hurdles that came along with the project. When Volume Bikes announced the Volume One BMX video the other week, we knew things were going to get nuts. Today, they released the section featuring DeMarcus Paul, Josh Clemens and Billy Perry all crushing spots on their home turf and from a few trips they clocked some clips on as well. Some of the Volume Bikes crew have begun filming for their next video project that’s bound to be awesome. “Volume 1” will feature full sections from DeMarcus Paul, Billy Perry and Josh Clemens. As you can imagine, this will be the first of multiple videos featuring the rest of the Volume team, but this BMX video in particular should be an absolute banger. Get stoked.

Billy Perry is always producing some rad BMX videos and this is another one of them! Billy recently strapped a GoPro to his chest and went for a cruise around New York City hitting up spots and jibbing around. This is 10 minutes of footage that is hard to stop watching. Enjoy!
“Point of View solo bike ride in Midtown NYC featuring BMX rider Billy Perry. Dodging cars and security guards, hitting amazing spots in midtown, as well as hopping on and over everything along the way.
This is part 2 of my NYC GoPro Series taken place in Midtown, New York City. This took 2 hours to film, and it was sick to ride these spots that are pretty untouched due to security guards being at the window or standing on the spot 24/7. Many traffic laws were broken during the filming of this video, please do not ride like this. This was filmed on a GoPro Hero 3+ with a chest mount.”
Billy Perry always keeping a steady flow of BMX videos coming through. Here’s a new First Try Friday video he put together with Anthony Panza and Jesse Romano at the Mastic Skatepark out east. If these are all first try tricks, it’s safe to say these guys are dialed as hell (which we pretty much figured already). Either way, this is a real good watch, so take a look!
“I headed to Mastic Skatepark on Long Island for a chill session with Anthony Panza and we met up with fellow friend and bmx rider Jesse Romano. We ended up filming a good amount of clips first try which sparked the idea for this series.”
It’s not all too often we see some footage of Billy Perry riding trails, but based off this BMX video from a session he caught at the Boondocks, it’s safe to say he can hold his own and we wouldn’t mind seeing more of it. Take a few laps with Billy as he straps a GoPro on and sends it!
“I headed over to the Boondocks Trails on Long Island, NY for the 2015 Octoberfest jam. I don’t ride trails too often due to not having the most ideal trail bike setup with a free coaster, 4 pegs, and no brakes, but I tried to hit a couple of the easier lines with the GoPro on. Hope you enjoy!

Billy Perry and Anthony Panza recently got into a little game of B-I-K-E at the Greenlawn skatepark in Huntington, New York! Check out this BMX video giving us a look at what both of these guys threw down and who took the win! Also, it sounds like they lost count of the letters near the end, so they played another trick by accident, haha. Check it!
