BSD have released the new Denim Cox signature Grime Frame! Here’s a video where Denim gives you a detailed look at his bike, along with a full bike check giving a run through of all the BSD parts that he’s running on his bike! Here’s some news for the Mike Aitken fans out there! Fit Bike Co. have done a re-release of the Aitken 3.5 frame for you to get your hands on. As some of you might recall, the Series 3.5 frame was originally released nearly 12 years ago in 2008 (wow… time flies!) and was undoubtedly one of the more popular frames out. The Aitken S3.5 frame is made from heat-treated, butted and air hardened Supertherm 4130 chromoly tubing with a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.8″ bottom bracket height, 8.25″ standover height and a 13.65″ – 13.90″ chainstay length. The frame features an engraved logo on the head tube, a downtube gusset, tear drop shaped downtube, integrated seat post clamp, Mid bottom bracket, tapered seat stays, micro 14mm dropouts and removable brake mounts.
The Aitken 3.5 frame is made here in the U.S.A, comes in Burgundy and Tan colors with 20.75″, 21″ and 21.25″ top tube lengths. Do note that some of these sizes are sold out or very close, so if you’re trying to get one, get on it now. Now this is a serious Flashback Friday. Volume Bikes just announced that they will be re-releasing their old Dinosaur frame as a part of their 20th anniversary! Brian knew what he wanted back then, with it only being available in a 20.5” top tube (Exactly as he rode it himself) and dropouts borrowed from a previous years Volume frame. Even today, Brian’s influence on bmx still shows in riders around the world, whether they know it or not.
This frame has evolved over the years and is now available in black chrome with a 21” top tube.
