When it comes to BMX Frames these days, it’s not hard to have a difficult time figuring out what frame you’re looking at without graphics or any sort of branding. It’s not that BMX frames are all the same, it’s just they have gotten so dialed that there’s pretty much only small geometry changes that are needed to make that “perfect” BMX frame for riding something like street, park, transitions or dirt. It’s always rad to see a unique feature that stands out from all other frames available.

Stranger – Stephan August Signature YAOK Frame

Stranger have released the new Stephan August signature YAOK Frame for you to get a look at. This BMX frame starts out with straight gauge chromoly tubing with a 75-degree head tube angle, 70-degree seat tube angle, 11.6″ bottom bracket height, 10.01″ standover height and a 13.3″ chainstay length. You can find an integrated head tube, gussets on the top and down tubes, integrated seat post clamp, Mid bottom bracket, curved stays for extra tire clearance and 8mm Investment Cast dropouts with integrated chain tensioners. This is a brakeless frame, so there are no mounts or guides.

The YAOK frame is available in raw and flat black colors with what appears to be only a 21.01″ top tube length for $360 through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Stranger worldwide now.

Sneak Peek: Wethepeople – Dan Kruk Signature Network Frame

Here’s a sneak preview of the new Dan Kruk signature Network Frame that he has been working on with Wethepeople! This frame is designed for the more technical street riders with a steep 75.75-degree head tube angle and a short 12.5″ chainstay length. No word on the release date just yet, but you can get more details and the full specs over on the Wethepeople website now!

This frame is made right here in the U.S.A out of butted Vari-Wall ThermalX 4130 chromoly tubing with a 75.5° head tube angle, 71° seat tube angle, 11.8″ bottom bracket height, 9.5″ standover height and a 13.3″ – 13.5″ chainstay length. The Yumi frame has an Integrated head tube, top and down tube gussets with embossed Fit logos, a butted top tube, straight gauge down tube, butted seat tube with an Integrated seat post clamp, straight gauge ultra-tapered seat stays, straight gauge S-Bend tapered chain stays and 4Q Baked heat-treated 14mm dropouts.

The Yumi frame is available in 20.5″, 20.75″ and 21″ top tube lengths with a Matte Clear Coat Raw and a Matte Dark Blue for the colors and a weight of 5.10 lbs. (21″).
