The Shadow Conspiracy Sabotage Full Guard Sprocket BMX

Is it time for a new BMX Sprocket? Are you looking for a full guard sprocket, but you want something that has plastic for grinds? Then The Shadow Conspiracy‘s Sabotage Full Guard Sprocket might just be what you are looking for. This sprocket is made from 5mm thick 6061-T6 alloy with The Shadow Conspiracy logos and a 15/16″ bore (19mm and 22mm adaptors included) and 1/8″ teeth. The Nylon guard comes with 4 bolts to help hold it in place no matter the abuse you throw and so you can rotate it as it wears. You can also find a few embossed logos on the guard as well.

BMX - Shadow Conspiracy Sabotage Full Guard Sprocket Replacement

Replaceable guard available for $9.99 in the Shadow Conspiracy webstore or through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Shadow worldwide.

“ As the old saying goes: ‘What’s old is new again’. The Sabotage Sprocket is a tribute to an old idea, based on old school sprocket/ guard combos, but with new school tech and materials. The high-impact, low-friction plastic guard is paired with a solid 5mm alloy sprocket by 4 bolts. The ultimate in protection for your sprocket and chain, we made the spacing between the guard and the teeth to fit a Shadow Conspiracy Supreme and Interlock chains, which most guards don’t do.” – The Shadow Conspiracy

“Head back in time as Shadow rider Eric Bahlman pays homage to the old school by putting his new Shadow Sabotage plastic guard sprocket to the ultimate test.

Shout out to Vic Murphy, Pete Augustin, and Eddie Roman for the inspiration.

Filmed and edited by Ryan Chadwick”

As we mentioned above, this sprocket is available through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry The Shadow Conspiracy worldwide now, and can be purchased in the Shadow Conspiracy Webstore.

Profile Racing BMX Sprockets

Since the introduction of the 9-tooth driver way back in 2003, we’ve seen the freestyle side of BMX adopt the 25-9 gear ratio as a bit of the standard, but there are still plenty of options and combinations that can change the way your bike feels, how fast you can go and more. Profile Racing released their latest “Tech Tip” that gives you some insight into how the gearing works and what a few of their riders run for combinations. You can check it all out over on the Profile Racing website — How Many Teeth Do You Need?

What combination do you run on your bike and why? Let us know in the comments below! We would love to hear what you have to say on the subject!
