Relic BMX – Elect Stem

It’s been a little while since we’ve taken a look at Ashley Charles‘ brand Relic, so we figured it would be a good time to take a look at one of their stem‘s. The Elect stem is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum right here in the U.S.A with a 52mm reach, 22mm rise (9mm inverted) and 31mm stack height. The stem features a clean and simple design, Relic logo etched into the face plate and on the bottom of the stem, additional internal machining for additional weight savings and solid chromoly bolts. The Elect stem is available in black and raw colors, weighs in at 11 oz and comes with a price tag of $59.99 through BMX shops and mail-orders.

Profile Racing – Liam Eltham Signature Paisley Colorway

It looks like Profile Racing will be releasing a new limited edition colorway on August 1st! This time around Liam Eltham has received his own signature colorway, which he decided to go with the Paisley color that we’ve seen pop up in the past on different products. Based off the photos, it looks like the color will be available on Profile’s Mini and Elite hubs, along with their Push topload stem! These will be going fast, so make sure you hit up your local shop and tell them to get your pre-order in now!

Product: Shadow Conspiracy – Odin Upload Stem

Is it time for a new BMX stem? Well, you’re in luck because The Shadow Conspiracy just released the Mark Burnett signature Odin Upload stem. This topload stem is cold forged and CNC machined out of 6061-T6 alloy with a 48mm reach, 36mm rise, 32mm stack height and a 48mm width. The Odin stem features a Shadow Conspiracy Crow logo on the face plate, six solid chromoly bolts, beveled edges, a rounded back to make it more knee friendly and a recessed top for a flush compression cap.

The Odin stem is available in black only with a weight of 11.5 oz. through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry The Shadow Conspiracy worldwide now.

Sneak Peek: FBM – Ride The Lightning Colorway

It’s always pretty crazy seeing what can be cooked up for color options these days. We’ve seen a lot of unique ones from the different styles of camouflage, oil slick, celestial, tie dye, etc., etc. over the past few years. It looks like the crew at FBM got a shocking idea for a new color that they’re calling “Ride the Lightning” that looks like some crazy lightning. There isn’t much info to come along with the photos, but it looks like the color will be available on their PMA Topload stem, Black Heart flangless grips and Nice Nylon pedals here in the U.S through QBMX and preferred BMX shops worldwide soon. Will these be the only parts available in this color? We’re not 100% sure. We do have a feeling these might be real popular since that color looks rad, though. Maybe since FBM and Profile Racing collaborate on a number of things, there will be some matching hubs to go with these colors? That would be pretty sweet.

Sneak Peek: Shadow Conspiracy – Odin Top Load Stem

It looks like Mark Burnett will have a signature top load stem from The Shadow Conspiracy hitting BMX shops and mail-orders soon. Shadow just released this sneak preview with a few details. The Odin stem will feature a 48mm reach and 36mm rise and it appears that it has a CNC machined Shadow logo in the top plate, recessed top for a flush fork compression cap, rounded back for knee friendliness and some additional machining around the sides for additional weight savings. No word on exact release date at the moment, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as we hear more!

Profile Racing – Limited Edition “Wing P” Spectrum Colorway

Is it time for some new BMX Hubs or a stem? The crew at Profile Racing have just released their latest Limited Edition colorway on the Mini and Elite hubs, along with the Push stem in 48mm and 53mm reach sizes. The new colorway features their classic “Wing P” logo with a spectrum of colors, which appear to be other color options they have been offering their hubs and parts in currently or in the past.

There are only 55 sets of right and left side drive mini hubs, even fewer Elite hubs and Push stems, so if you’re looking to get a set, you will want to have your local BMX shop or favorite mail-order get you a set ordered up ASAP!

Insight: Demolition Parts – Dennis Enarson Signature Rig Line

It’s always fun checking out the latest BMX parts that brands are releasing. Over the past two years, the Dennis Enarson signature range of products from Demolition Parts have been making their way to BMX shops and mail-orders around the world and the final piece has just been released, the Rig stem. We figured now that all the parts are available, we would take a look at the entire range of Rig parts. So, if you’re looking for a new stem, bars, cranks or tires… You’ll want to take a look! Let’s get into this!

RIG STEM
Let’s start off with the newest addition to the line. The Rig top load Stem is CNC machined from 6061 alloy with a 53mm reach, 33mm stack height and 32mm rise. The stem is 45mm wide, which gives it more area to clamp on the bars to reduce the risk of slipping. You can also find a rounded back, beveled edges, a debossed Demolition logo in the face plate, extra internal machining for additional weight savings, solid chromoly bolts and a recessed top for a flush fork compression cap.

The Rig top load stem is available in black and polished with a weight of 10.8 oz and a price tag of $62.99. It can be picked up through any BMX shop or mail-order that carry Demolition Parts worldwide now.

RIG BARS
The Rig Bars are made from heat-treated, 13-butted 4130 chromoly tubing with two rise options; 9″ and 9.25″, a width of 29″, 12-degrees of backsweep, 2-degrees of upsweep, 6.5″ (9″) or 6.75″ (9.25″) crossbar height and an 11.28″ (9″) or 11.3″ (9.25″) crossbar width.

The Rig bars are available in Black and chrome with a weight of 33.2 oz. (9″) with a price tag of $67.99 for the black or $73.99 for the chrome bars. These bars can be picked up through any BMX shop or mail-order that carry Demolition Parts worldwide now.

RIG TIRE
The Rig tires were designed to go wherever Dennis wanted to go whether it’s the skatepark, streets or trails. You can find a smoother pattern in the middle of the tread to help reduce rolling resistance and deeper grooves and blocks with knurling on the sides to give you plenty of traction while turning. The tires are made from a dual density rubber compound that is 20% stronger and more durable to help prevent the tires from wearing down or cracking quickly with nylon cord plies, 4 cord wire bead steel cables to ensure the tire will stay on the rim and a 110 PSI rating.

The Rig tire is available in sizes of 2.25″ and 2.40″ with colors of black, black with a tan wall and black with a white wall and a price tag of $25.99 each. These can also be picked up through any BMX shop or mail-order that carry Demolition Parts worldwide now.

RIG CRANKS
If you haven’t caught on by now, the entire range was designed with strength being key. The Rig cranks were especially designed for their strength. The cranks start out with heat-treated 4130 chromoly arms with a built in ridge face for increased strength and stiffness with a spindle boss that sits flush to prevent the dreaded crank arm bite, a 24mm, 48-splined heat-treated chromoly spindle and chromoly spindle bolts with 3/8″ ratchet and 6mm allen key slots to keep your cranks tight.

The Rig cranks are available in flat black or chrome with 170mm and 175mm sizes (Note: 165mm will be coming in the near future), a weight of 31.6 oz. (175mm) and a price tag of $149.99!
