Uncovered BMX – Stop 2: The Wheel Mill Highlights

Check out what went down at the second stop of the Uncovered BMX contest!

The Uncovered BMX contest series continues! This time around it landed at The Wheel Mill in Pittsburgh! As expected, there was a ton of riders that turned out from the young guns to the AM’s that were ready to throw down. Check out 12 minutes of footage showing you everything that went down!

“Uncovered BMX is the sickest new AM contest series dreamt up by Van Homan and Brian Kachinsky. Stop 2 took us to The Wheel Mill in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where absolute mayhem ensued. Gnarly crashes, ridiculous tech moves, and the straight savage hammers you’ve come to expect from “Mad Mike” Guth. Featuring George Duran, Jordan Capece, Mad Mike, Casey Starling, Jamie Thayer, Alex Leibrock, Adem Gunaydin, and many many more. Check out all of the highlights and stay tuned for stop 2 in February! It has been a little while since Scotty Cranmer has uploaded a video with some riding footage, but that’s because his body doesn’t do so well in the cold weather after the accident. Fortunately, it’s 80 degrees and sunny in Florida, so Scotty decided it was time to get some riding on Trey Jones‘ backyard, A.K.A the Florideah Training Facility. Scotty figured today was the day to try and re-learn fakie’s. Here’s a video where Scotty gives it a few goes with the help of Big Boy and Matty Cranmer. Needless to say, this is awesome to see since it has been a long road to recovery for Scotty and to see him making moves like this is so good.

“I finally got back on my BMX bike to ride again, but this time I wanted to challenge myself by re-learning a new trick! I decided to try and see if I am getting stronge enough to do a “fakie” which is riding a BMX bike backwards! It is very difficult but I was definitely up for the challenge!
