Cult – Dan Foley “Still Filming”

October 2, 2017

It has been a little while since Dan Foley has put out a BMX video, and we’ve been bummed since we were really digging the videos he was putting out every few days. Even though those videos haven’t been happening, he’s been busy putting in work and filming it all. Here’s a look at what he has been getting into from skatepark sessions to cruising street spots and more. Needless to say, this is packed full of some incredible riding and super clean film work. Absolute MUST SEE. Enjoy!

“Dan Foley keeps coming through with his signature style even if you make fun of his self filming skills. He’s a master of his craft both riding and filming. Just a all around solid human being.” – Cult

Joseph Frans and Lucas Schaller – Euro Trip 2017

October 2, 2017

Lucas Schaller and Terrible One‘s very own Joseph Frans loaded up for a trip on over to Spain to ride their bikes at a bunch of different skateparks, street spots and more with a few friends over on that side of the world! Here’s a look at what they got into! Great riding, good vibe and a solid choice of music. Enjoy!

“Joseph Frans and I decided to make a trip to Europe to meet up with our friends Stef Guner, Jonas De Winter, and Jente Vermeir to ride some bikes and travel across Europe. This was my first time to leave the United States and it was one of the best trips I have ever been on that could not have been possible without them! Hope you enjoy my souvenir of the good times!”

Scotty Cranmer – Insane Gap at the Skatepark

October 1, 2017

Scotty Cranmer, Matty Cranmer and Big Boy made their way back to the Hazlet skatepark for a session on a sunny afternoon. Matty and Big Boy were rolling around stacking clips all over the park from rails and ledges to the quarter pipes and some of the crazy gaps the skatepark has to offer.

“We decided to go ride a skatepark that we have been to before called Hazlet. We had an awesome session before I had to head to PT. Big boy and Matty both hit a huge gap and they had so much fun riding. These are my favorite times just hanging out and enjoying a great session!”

Kink BMX – Saturday Selects: Jake Petruchik Raw Cuts

September 30, 2017

It’s that time of the week again! Kink sent through this weeks Saturday Selects video that features a bunch of raw footage featuring Jake Petruchik getting down on the streets of Austin, Texas and a few other spots around the state. Jake it the kind of guy that crushes everything he comes across from big burly rails and ledges to ditches and more. He even gets a few laughs in when things don’t go his way. Hit play and take it all in!

“Jake and I spent a few months working on this together a few years back in Austin and the surrounding areas. Jake has been one of my favorite riders for a long time, he has a really good eye and an almost too casual demeanor on his bike. Some of these clips are insane, but it’s almost hard to tell.” – Darryl Tocco

BMX Life Hacks – How To Pack a Bike Bag For Cheap

September 30, 2017

Anyone who has traveled with a BMX bike knows it can be a little tricky when it comes to flying. Getting your bike on the plane without having to pay insane fees is a little bit tricky, but there are a few tricks that can literally save you hundreds of dollars, even if you only fly once. When it comes to traveling with a BMX bike, Brad Simms has undoubtedly logged more miles than most BMX riders and has been to more countries on this planet than most people will in an entire lifetime. With that travel, Brad has mastered the art of packing his bike in a Golf Bag to slide it through the baggage check at the airport without getting hit with that $150 – $200 fee that people can get hit with when they roll up to the airport. Another little tip, don’t go out of your way to tell people you have a bike in the first place. Staying under the radar goes a long way.

“Today I’m giving you a big life hack. Picking a bike bag and packing it. If you enjoyed the video be sure to like, subscribe, and share to everyone that’s tired of getting ripped off by airlines.”

Check out the Odyssey Nest Travel Bag.

You can’t go wrong with the DK Golf Flight Bag, either!

If you aren’t looking to spend $140 – $170 on a Travel Bag (Which WILL pay for itself in 2 or 3 trips) that is designed for BMX, you can usually get away with cheaper Golf Bags that are similar in size. Here’s an example of one that is similar in size to the DK Golf Bag and the Odyssey Nest Travel Bag for example…

What do you use when you travel for a bike bag? Let us know your tricks in the comments below!
