Is it time for a new BMX Seat, but you want something unique? BSD have just released Reed Stark‘s brand new signature Safari Pivotal seat for you to get your hands (or knees and ass) on. This Fat style Pivotal seat offers plenty of padding to make it comfortable to sit on and pinch with your knees. It’s covered with a woven nylon that has a giraffe print design, an embroidered BSD patch on the back and plastic bumpers along the back and sides to help resist wear and tear. This seat is available in the Giraffic Safari colorway (Brown and Tan) only and can be picked up through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry BSD worldwide now!

Product: BSD – Drive Side Jersey Barrier Hub Guard

Is it time for a new drive side Hub Guard? Well, BSD have their new Drive Side Jersey Barrier hub guard hitting BMX shops and mail-orders very soon. This guard, which is designed to fit BSD’s Back Street Pro and West Coaster Freecoaster (we would imagine fits on more brands hubs than just those two), is made from high density molded plastic with a chromoly insert. The plastic guard also has a molded drop out location point which prevents the guard from spinning while grinding. The Drive Side Jersey Barrier guard is available in black only!

Product: BSD – M-Caps Bar Ends

Since the introduction of the ever popular plug style nylon bar ends, we haven’t seen a lot of changes other than colors and some of the designs on the ends of the plug. Merritt offer a bar end with a washer on the inside, which helps prevent the plug from jamming into the bars and breaking off, but they’re still no protected on the outside, which is usually the source cause of them breaking. BSD‘s M-Caps, which are hitting BMX shops and mail-orders around the world, are a dual material plug style bar end that features an aluminum ring that wraps around the outside of the nylon plug, and gives a barrier between the bars and any impacts that might hit the plug, helping to reduce the chance of it breaking. The M-Caps are available in colors of black, chocolate, Surplus green, dark red, grey and Dust blue with a black aluminum ring.

BSD just released this new BMX video from Thijs Vervaeck for your viewing pleasure! Watch as Thijs cruises some of his local street spots, along with spots in Barcelona and more from around the Netherlands. Thijs brings a smooth style with a good mix of tricks to the street, with an eye for unique setups that make his riding even better. The song for this one is definitely unique as well, but that makes it all the better! If you want a dialed BMX video to start your day off, this is the one to go with!

Product: BSD – West Coaster Freecoaster Hub

Here’s one we got a look at back at September in the BSD Interbike 2015 Preview. The new West Coaster freecoaster hub that they have been working on over in Scotland. The West Coaster freecoaster starts out with a 6061-T6 aluminum shell with high quality sealed bearings, a 4130 heat-treated chromoly axle, a unique durable clutch design and a triple bearing driver that is designed to to hold up to the heavy abuse these hubs are put through in the streets. Below you can find a little more info about their new drag system that BSD chose to go with…

“We utilized a totally new type of drag mechanism, instead of the usual ‘metal grinding on metal’ spring arrangement we used a heavy friction O-ring to create drag on a highly ground and polished section of the axle. This makes for smooth operation, while generating ample friction to engage the hub.

We tested many different designs of the driver, the all bushing systems we tried had too much wobble, we also tested various configurations of cartridge bearings, they had their own issues. We got the best results using 2 x cartridge bearings, 1 x polymer bush bearing and a C-clip to keep everything simple, steady and solid.”

The West Coaster hub comes in right or left side drive with color options of black or polished, a weight of 1.45 lbs. (660 grams / 23.28 oz.) and have Jersey Barrier Push-On drive and non-drive side hub guards included.

The Hub will be hitting BMX shops and mail-orders that carry BSD worldwide in December, so hit your favorite shop up and see if you can get on that pre-order list today.

BSD‘s connect in Canada through Killemall Distribution, Joel Marchand coming through with a fresh new BMX video from his sessions over the course of the past year that is filled with plenty of grinds, freecoaster action, manual and nose manual balance being put to use on his local street spots.
