Industry: Cooper Brownlee

Cooper Brownlee BMX

One of Australia’s hardest working guys in BMX, Cooper Brownlee, was on my need to interview list about his career path in the industry. Cooper is known for being Clint Millar’s right hand man when it comes to Colony and his personal project, Focalpoint. Cooper’s photo and design work has been seen all over, and that’s just part of what he finds himself getting into on the daily. I shot him a bunch of questions to find out a little bit more about his career. Take a look at what he had to say, some real good riding photos and past videos, then leave him some love in the comments!

Alex Hiam Interview

April 25, 2011

Alex Hiam BMX

Alex is one of those unbelievably talented young riders that has been blowing up over the course of the last two or so years. Alex is constantly getting better, and after getting over a recent injury, he has been back on it and better than ever. I figured with him filming for his Colony part, having his own signature frame and complete bike, and just an endless amount of energy and good coming from the kid, that it was time to shoot him some questions. Check out what Alex had to say, some real good photos from Cooper Brownlee and some of his recent edits. Don’t forget to leave him some love in the comments or by Liking the interview!

Steven Moxley Interview

April 20, 2011

All photos: Justen Soule

This week is lined up to be a bit of an unintentional Colony week with Chris’ interview yesterday, Steven’s today, and another that I’ll keep secret till it goes up by the end of the week. Last week, it was announced that Steven was added to Colony’s flow team up in Canada. If you have seen Steven’s riding, then you are well aware of his insane technical abilities that make it way too hard to try and figure out. When the news hit about the new sponsor, I figured it would be more than a good time to catch up with Steven to find out a little bit more about him and what else he has been up to. Check out what he has to say, some real good photos from Justen Soule, and a few recent edits including his Power Hour that dropped yesterday. Don’t forget to leave him some love in the comments or “Like” the interview!

Chris Courtenay Interview

April 18, 2011

Photo: Nitai Whitehurst

Chris Courtenay is one of Colony‘s pros who has been getting back into the swing of things. About a year ago, Chris blew his knee out at the Red Bull Dirt Pipe contest and had been kept off the bike for about 7 months. Chris has been back on the attack these past few months riding harder than ever and even has a new signature sprocket coming through. I figured it would be a good time to find out a little bit more about Chris and see what he has going on these days. Check out what he had to say…
