Product: Colony BMX – Limited Edition Tradition Firestorm Kit
We have always seen unique colorway options available on BMX frames and parts, but it seems like lately we have seen some exceptionally unique colors that look amazing. Colony recently unveiled their 2016 line and one item in particular that really caught our eye is their new Tradition frame kit with their limited edition Firestorm colorway. This kid includes their new Tradition frame, Guardian fork, Roaster bars, Squarback top load stem, Colony Headset and adjustable headset spacer. We figured the color was more than enough to take a closer look. Let’s get into this!
Product: Colony – 2016 Monash Frame
Time for a new frame? Have you seen the new Colony Monash frame that was just released? The Monash is Colony’s brand new team frame that starts out with full 4130 chromoly tubing, a 75.5-degree head tube angle, 70-degree seat tube angle, 11.5″ bottom bracket height, 9″ stand over height and 13.1″ chain stay length (slammed). The Monash features a heat-treated Hourglass head tube with gussets on the top and down tubes, dent resistant straight gauge top and down tubes, a heat-treated MID bottom bracket, removable seat post clamp, tapered seat and chain stays that are wider apart to fit 2.4″ tires, heat-treated 5mm thick CNC machined drop outs and removable brake mounts using Colony’s Investment Cast removable mounts.
The Monash frame is available worldwide through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Colony now and comes in 20.4″, 20.8″ and 21″ top tube lengths with a weight of 5.22 lbs. (20.4″) and colors of Translucent Black and Translucent Orange. More photos below!
Colony BMX – Zac Miner Farewell Video
Colony just sent through their latest video with some surprising news. Zac Miner has stepped down from his spot on the pro team for Colony. So, they decided to compile all of his latest footage for one last video to say thanks for the good times! Take a look at this BMX video!

Colony – Bruno Faucon 2015
Colony‘s Bruno Faucon recently dialed in his bike with a few fresh goodies and decided to head to his local park to stack a few clips on it. This video gives you a look at the new build and as always, some real dialed riding. Bruno doesn’t disappoint.

Colony just released this fresh Jourdan Barba video where he goes to work charging rail after rail like the beast he is. It looks like Jourdan really focused in on kinked rails for this one and damn did he do a good job. This is one BMX video you can’t pass up if you’re into street riding!

Sneak Peek: Colony BMX – Pursuit Sprocket
It looks like Colony have been working on a special project that has had its fair share of hurdles to over come to make it happen. Above is a sneak preview of their new Pursuit sprocket that is being produced in Australia. Similar to how the cost to have products produced right here in the U.S.A versus Taiwan is higher, it’s even higher in Australia which makes something as simple as a sprocket tricky to be produced for a good price. But, it looks like Clint over at Colony has found a way to make it work. Get more details below! We’ll keep you posted when more information is released.
