Federal Bikes – FTS – Lost It: Volume 1

Federal Bikes giving us a look into a new full-length video they’re working on…

The Federal Bikes team have been busy going to work on their new “FTS” video and they’ve had some extra footage. Instead of letting it go to waste, they put together a video showing how things went down in Philadelphia. This isn’t your typical raw cut, behind the scenes scrap video… This is a well filmed and edited video that gives us a look at what the team experienced, along with some riding footage that won’t be making the cut for the final video, during their stay in Philadelphia. Check out riding and footage from Dan Lacey, Bruno Hoffmann, Anthony Perrin, Stevie Churchill, Ryan Eles, James Cunningham and Michal Smelko from the lens of Rich Forne! We’re already pumped to see the “FTS” video!

100 Foot Flat Rail BMX Jam

What happens when you drop some of the best street riders on a 100 foot long rail? You get some crazy grinds and lines.

When it comes to rails, it’s not every day that you get the chance to ride a 100 foot long flat rail. The Ride BMX guys recently got their hands on this rail and decided to invite out a bunch of heavy hitters to ride the mega rail and see what they could come up with for grinds and lines. Needless to say, things got crazy. Check it out!

Heavy Session At The New Vans Training Facility

Some of the Vans team caught a private session at the new Vans headquarters…

What happens when Dakota Roche, Bruno Hoffmann, Kilian Roth, Gary Young, Dan Lacey, Andrew Castaneda and Anthony Perrin get together for a session? Plenty of amazing riding and good times. The crew recently caught a session at the new training facility located inside the brand new Vans headquarters out in California. Here’s a raw cut of footage giving you a look at what went down!

“Vans moved the whole operation to Costa Mesa recently, and with that move came a lot of life improvements…the most epic of them being a little private ‘training facility’ that the employees and pro riders can call their own at any time of the day or night. Before the Vans Street Invitational kicked off, we organized a little (but insanely heavy) session with some of the Vans squad including Dakota Roche, Bruno Hoffmann, Kilian Roth, Gary Young, Dan Lacey, Andrew Castaneda, and Anthony Perrin.

Hope you enjoy the raw cut; finding cleared music that isn’t horrible, so I figured this was the best way to go. Besides, I think it tells the vibe of the session pretty well.

The crew at Source BMX had Dan Lacey take his shot with the dartboard to figure out what spot he was going to ride. The concept is simple, Dan throws a dart and whatever spot he hits on the board, he has to go out and film a clip… Regardless if it’s freezing cold out or not! Check out where he ended up up!

Dan Lacey and Bruno Hoffmann teamed up for the Battle of Hastings Plaza Edit…

Whenever you get Dan Lacey and Bruno Hoffmann together for a session, you know things are going to get nuts. Especially on a setup like the Source Park Plaza setup. During the Battle of Hastings these two had an hour to stack as many clips as they could and they ended up taking the 5th place spot! Leading up to the Battle of Hastings this year, Source BMX had Brian Kachinsky redesign their Plaza section for all the pro riders to enjoy! Here’s two videos for you to check out. The first one shows you all the pros like Garrett Reynolds, Alex Donnachie, Chad Kerley, Corey Martinez, Nathan Williams, Dan Lacey, Aaron Ross and more going to work on the new setup. The second video features Brian Kachinsky talking about what went into the design and how he made it all happen being across the pond in the U.S while the plaza is in Hastings, England!
