Ride PA – “Quaker State” – The Yea Section

Sections from the Ride PA DVD “Quaker State” are starting to pop up online. Check out the first section that’s filled with just shy of 11 minutes of real solid riding from The Yea crew.

“DIG is proud to present the first section of ‘Quaker State’ a Pennsylvania based video series produced by Ride PA BMX, bringing together crews and riders from across the state. The Yea crew hold down introductory part honors, and kicks things off in a great way.

Division Brand – Wolfgang Ray 2016 Video

When Division Brand‘s connect in California Wolfgang Ray is out on the streets, no rail or ledge is safe. Watch as he puts all four of his pegs to heavy, heavy use in this new BMX video that’s packed full of heat. You won’t be disappointed.

“Wolfgang Ray may possess an effortless style, but don’t let that fool you into thinking his DIG X Division video came together without much work, because that’s far from the case. Committed to the project, and in love with BMX, Wolf regularly logs 100 miles roundtrip to get a session in with videographer Chris Bracamonte, and you won’t ever catch him complaining about it one bit. We love the dedication!

Words from videographer Chris Bracamonte – “Wolf and I started filming this shortly after his Division welcome edit. We filmed around The Valley, Fresno, and Lake Havasu. Wolf resides in Lake Los Angeles, California, 30 minutes outside of Palmdale CA. He travels over an hour every time he meets up for the session with the help of his two good friends Michael and Kfed. We had planned on finishing this video when in Melbourne, Australia but Wolf stacked so much footage there he ended up filming an entire other video which should drop in a month.”

In The Cut – Substance KGB Jam 2016

The Substance crew threw theirselves a jam at the park just down the street from their shop to get all the locals together for some good times. Check out some highlights from the day in this raw cut giving you a look at some of the riding that went down, along with some of the hilarious extras. Looks like it was a good day to us!

“Last Saturday Glasgow’s BMX community donned their tinfoil hats, set the gauge to “Mindwheels” and prepared for another annual Substance KGB Jam in the heart of Glasgow’s houmous and kale feasting westend, just footsteps from its beloved Substance BMX shop. To say that Dan Coller went all in for his section for the Kink “Intervention” video would be an understatemnt. Dan absolutely crushed it! Above is a look at the battle he had with the gnarly grind he did off a roof. You didn’t think he pulled that first go, did you? Turns out it took more than one trip, too. Welcome to Episode 2 of our DIG Battles series. This time round we get a closer look at Dan Coller vs the Roof in Kink Intervention. Here’s what filmer Darryl Tocco had to say…

“Dan Coller flipped a switch a few years ago. Instead of pursuing what has now become the norm of outrageously technical riding, suddenly it seemed he was only interested in the scary stuff. Huge rails, grinds to flat, and now apparently, roof setups. In 2013 Dan was working on a welcome to KINK pro video, and this setup sent him packing. Dan quit while he was ahead on this round, and decided to walk away. 2 and a half years later while we were filming for Intervention, Dan decided that it was time to put this one to bed. Not long after we arrived and a few frustrating attempts later, we found ourselves drinking tall cans and laughing at the roof. Cheers, Dan.” – Darryl Tocco

Ender Ender – Dan Conway “Holy Fit”

There’s not a whole lot of riders out there that would go for a clip when literally everything was stacked against them. When it came time for Dan Conway to get a clip that ultimately became his ender for his section, there wasn’t much that could stop him. Despite rain, two flat tires, multiple crashes and security hovering, he still managed to get it done. Shiftlife BMX Jam 2016 – Rosario, Argentina

It’s incredible how good the scene is down in Argentina these days. Here’s footage from the Shiftlife Jam that went down last month in Rosario that had a HUGE turn out. Check out a ton of damn good riding in the video above. Looks like this day kicked ass from start to finish.

“In early March, U.S. native Martin Ochoa threw a jam for the up-and-coming riding scene in Rosario, Argentina, and it was awesome. Attendees came from all over the country and beyond, including DIG #96 allumni Carlos Lopez, Kiko Blasco, Dalmiro Julian Torres, Julian Persia, and Matias Dunda, and more.

James Newrick “NSF2” Section

What were you doing 14 years ago? Well, if you are James Newrick, you would have been putting in work on street spots an skateparks over in the U.K for the “NSF2” video. Fast forward 14 years and Jim just put out part one of Hit The North, still slaying spots with his friends like he was years ago. Hit play and enjoy this classic!

“Anyone around my age with an interest in street riding should be more than familiar with James Newrick’s NSF 2 part, which was released on VHS in 2002. Even now, whenever I hear that Peter Hook bassline on Joy Division’s Shadowplay it makes me want to go and hop something in a bleak Northern setting.
