Wethepeople and Eclat‘s connect down in Australia, Tim Storey, put together this video bike check that gives you a run through his dialed ride along with some real solid riding clips from his local park in Mooroondu. Take a peek!
We gave you a look at the first prototype of this fork during Interbike, but it looks like things are looking good for the Strain fork from Eclat since they wouldn’t be trying to get people excited for nothing. This one-piece fork is hydroformed which creates a stronger fork since there are fewer welds involved in the creation of it. They legs and dropouts are one piece for a smooth look and no welds which greatly reduces the chance of cracking in that area. I’d imagine they are still a little ways out with this one, but you can check out a few more photos close up shots of the fork right here until then.
Here’s a look at the new Ridgestone tires from Eclat. This tire comes in two different tread pattern versions; slick and traction. The Slick version is a wire bead tire with a 120 tpi (threads per inch) contruction and a 110 psi rating. The Ridgestone slick is available in 20 x 2.20″ and 20 x 2.30″ with black, white wall and skin wall color options.
The Traction version is also a wire bead tire with 120 tpi and a 110 psi rating. This more aggressive version of the tire comes in 20 x 2.30″ with black, white wall and skin wall color options.
Both tires will be available soon everywhere Eclat is sold. You can find more photos by clicking here.
If you haven’t been paying attention to Wethepeople or Eclat the past few months there’s a good chance you have missed some of the hints of their new products they have coming. Once I got to their booth I quickly realized they have A LOT of new products in the works that will be becoming available real soon. I guess I better just get into this huh?
Going to be at Interbike? Planning on being at NORA Cup? Well, get there on time because Eclat will be premiering the Trans Europe Express part from the Free and Sleazy tour! Can’t wait to see this.
“Ok, so as a co-sponsor of this years Nora Cup in Las Vegas we had the chance to show a special edit including part III of the ‘free and sleazy’ tour in Europe. Its just 10 minutes long but we thought it would be a cool and fun way to kick off the awards.
If you get to the awards show a little early you can have a good old watch, starring Ashley Charles, Chester Blacksmith, Sean Burns, Shane Weston, Nathan Williams, Darryl Tocco, Phil Demattia and IZ Pulido. Hope you can make it!
We are at Booth 24009 at interbike, come say hi.” – Paul Robinson / Eclat TM
