Interbike 2012: Fairdale
In the last 5 years I don’t think I’ve ever covered anything that wasn’t a “BMX bike” but I think we all consider Fairdale a BMX brand since it’s owned by Taj Mihelich and run by a bunch of BMX riders. That’s more than enough for me to support it. I finally made my way over to their booth to take a few photos. Let’s take a peek.
Fairdale – Seattle to San Francisco Photogallery
If you caught our interview with Sandy Carson a few weeks back, he mentioned a trip he was taking with Fairdale from Seattle down to San Francisco. Well, the trip has come and gone already and there is a photogallery up on Defgrip that you can check out. Looks like it was a real good time.
Tom & His Fairdale
Photos: Sandy Carson
Looking back over the years, it’s kind of crazy how things happen. I was probably around 14 or 15 the first time I met Sandy Carson. It was at an Etnies Demo if I remember right. After that I some how ended up emailing him and to my surprise he responded and was always really friendly to this random kid for reasons I never understood. Over the years, I’ve stayed in touch with Sandy for different things and it’s always awesome catching up with him since he’s always getting into something completely different and unique whether it’s bikes, photos or music. It had been a little while since I hit him up and figured with the release of his revamped portfolio website, SandyCarson.com, a little while back that it would be a good time to see if he would be up for answering a few questions and sending through some photos for you to check out. Let’s see what he had to say, then check out a quick Photogallery…

Interbike 2010: Odyssey / Sunday
(New Aaron Ross Colorway. Orange everything.)
I was a little caught off guard when I saw the Odyssey booth everyone knows and loves wasn’t on the floor. That’s because they have a new booth (without benches!) that is mixed with Sunday, Flatware, and the new Taj project Fairdale all combined into one booth as the Full Factory Distribution booth. So let’s take a peek, there’s a few new goodies in here…
