Last weekend the annual BMX Cologne contest went down over in Germany. As always, some of the best street riders over in Germany turned out for the street contest and the guys at Freedom BMX were there to capture all the action. Here’s a look at all the best riding that went down!

Here’s a fresh one Freedom BMX uploaded giving us a look at Jordan Godwin getting in a morning session at a plaza during a recent trip to Cologne, Germany to visit the Wethepeople office.

“Jordan Godwin made a morning visit to the Cape 686 Plaza in Cologne for the second episode of our new video series “Frühsport”. As you can see, the footage is a bit older aka from the summer of 2018, which according to Internet standards is not only a half, but almost a whole eternity ago. But the action is right and that’s what it’s all about, right ?!

Felix Prangenberg’s Birthday Bash

Felix Prangenberg celebrated his birthday with a big session at his local park…

Here’s a rad one that Freedom BMX put together from the birthday jam for Felix Prangenberg over in Germany. There with a big turn out with a bunch of familiar faces, and it looks like the day was filled with good times and plenty of dialed riding. Check out what went down!

“In the past, Felix Prangenberg has celebrated his birthday in his own ramp park in beautiful Rossbach. But since Felix does not stop by his parents’ home so often, instead he plays around in world history almost without interruption and otherwise chills with his girlfriend near Cologne, the facility is no longer in the best condition, which is why the freedombmx ramp and Street Driver of the Year 2017 invited a few of his closest friends to a session at the Bowl 2.0 in Cologne-Ehrenfeld on his 20th birthday. And there were not only prizes and shopping vouchers to win from the kunstform BMX Shop for the best tricks, but also some of Germany’s best BMX riders among Felix’s friends (Leon Hoppe, Felix Donat and Tom Weikert, to name but a few), things went pretty hard there, as you can see in our video. Geiler day, thank you Pberg!

Leon Ditzel Down Under

Leon Ditzel goes to work on spots in Australia and New Zealand!

Here’s a rad one giving us a look at what Leon Ditzel got into during his time in Australia and New Zealand for the past half year or so. During his stay, Leon managed to get plenty of time in stacking clips on a ton of rails, ledges and more! Here’s a look at all those clips in one spot for your viewing pleasure!

“The Chefwax team rider Leon Ditzel we had not yet on the side, which is a bit strange, because the Hessenlocal goes neat. He has just returned from Australia and New Zealand, where he enjoyed the “Work and Travel” life together with his homie Deniz Dündar for a good six months. On their return, the two of them had a video full of bangers straight from the top shelves of the engineering department that Leon performed on the streets of Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Wellington and Hamilton, and we certainly do not want to withhold them. The annual Butcher Jam over in Germany is always a wild one. Here’s a video that Freedom BMX put together from the contest giving us a look at what went down on the ramps, trails, big air contest sand more. There was a huge turn out and no shortage of amazing riding and good times going down! Take a look!

Northbrigade BMX Jam 2018

Check out what went down at the Northbrigade jam over in Germany!

It’s almost weird seeing a skatepark that doesn’t allow bike in 2018. It seems like that whole banning bikes thing doesn’t really work as well as it used to back in the day. Either way, the Northbrigade park in Cologne has slowly become bike friendly, so there was a jam thrown there to bring riders from all over Europe together for a day of riding and good times. Here’s a video Freedom BMX put together showing you all the dialed riding that went down!

“A lot of water had to flow down the Rhine before after years of abstinence a BMX-Jam took place in Cologne’s Northbrigade. The reason: The North was first completely rebuilt four years ago and then there was once a time a complete ban on BMX, which was later converted into a peg ban. In the meantime you can ride the park again with plastic pegs. And so it finally happened on 5 May 2018: riders from all over NRW, Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria and even Belgium and Holland had come to Cologne-Weidenpesch to jam together in bright sunshine in the Northbrigade. Of course, we were there to record the hottest tricks of the day for posterity – and a lot was on offer! Here is our video with the bangers of Bruno Hoffmann, Felix Prangenberg, Dennis Moller, Ferdi Bensch and many more.

Autum BMX Street Jam In Berlin

Check out what went down at the Autum BMX street jam in Berlin…

It’s finally starting to warm up here in the northern hemisphere, and that means we’ll be seeing more riders getting out to ride. Here’s a video Freedom BMX put together from a street jam that went down in Berlin, Germany that the Autum Store crew put together. This gives you a good look at what went down on and off the bikes. It’s safe to say this was a good time.

“Summer in April: Yesterday in Berlin at the Streetjam of Autum Bikes neatly sweaty and even worked on the complexion. Here are a few clips that Björn “Bommel” Mager captured during the afternoon at Kulturforum and Gleisdreieckpark, before the crowd moved on to Neukölln in the evening to sip some cold drinks at the season opening of the Autum Store. Clear case of good times!

FISE Jeddah: BMX Park Practice Day 1

FISE has landed in Saudi Arabia…

The first every FISE stop in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is going down this weekend and it looks like all the riders have already started getting in plenty of practice on the ramp setup. Here’s a video Freedom BMX put together giving us all a look at what went down during the first practice! Not only is this contest going to lead to some wild riding, but we have a feeling it might just reach a lot of people who have never heard of or seen BMX before, which is pretty cool. It would be rad to see more BMX videos coming out of Saudi Arabia.
