One Dude, Two Days: Sven Avemaria

October 26, 2017

Freedom BMX caught up with Sven Avemaria for two days of filming…

The latest “One Dude, Two Days” video from Freedom BMX has arrived. This time around they caught up with Sven Avemaria who spent his time putting his bike and skateboard to good use on spots over in Germany. Sven brings

“Why wait until retirement before you begin to enjoy life? Sven Avemaria, the art form team rider, has also come to the conclusion that a year ago he decided that it would be the highest train for him to take a break from his banker’s existence to give more time for life in general and BMX in the Special ones. For this purpose, the young man with the sympathetic priorities in the autumn of 2016 moved from the idyllic Uhldingen-Mühlhofen on Lake Constance to the Swabian metropolis of Stuttgart, a distance of just two cars, where he found a connection in the local scene in the Nullkommanix. What is not surprising is because Sven is not only a maximally relaxed type, which is a positive basic attitude, but also always for his session to have. That he is also an extremely smoother two-wheeled acrobat and skater (!), You can find in our new series of “One Dude Two Days” last summer on a wonderful July weekend on the streets of his election home.” – Sven Avemaria

Wethepeople Autumn Session 2017 In Trier

October 5, 2017

The annual Wethepeople Autumn Session at the Trier park over in Germany always looks like a good time and this year is no different! Here’s a look at what went down during the jam that drew out a ton of familiar faces and a few new ones who threw down all over the park. Hit play and check out a bunch of highlights in this video from Freedom BMX!

“Here is our video of the wethepeople Autumn Session 2017 in the project X Skatehalle Trier with all sorts of contemporary grindsport maneuvers (including a potential NBD by Dennis Erhardt) and a shot ramp action, for which the Zuppermarket-Local Marcel Gans is responsible. And then there would be Leon Hoppe’s application for the German BMX freestyle park Olympiakader and Tom Schorb-Mergenthaler with a courageous end, which was already on our Instagram page (@freedombmx_mag). But because the end of the clip is quite funny, we just re-distributed it at this point.

SI BMX – Markus Reuss Welcome Video

September 28, 2017

Markus Reuss is now doing it for SI BMX over in Germany! Here’s his official welcome video that Freedom BMX put together featuring Markus putting in work on ramps and street spots. As always, Markus lays down a ton of excellent riding on everything he touches from grinds on big rails to blasted airs on the ramps. Check it!

“For a time, it was quite quiet around Markus Reuss, which was mainly because he had to deal with some serious injuries. They have been fortunate since the beginning of the year and since then, the Wuppertal Allroundtalent has been very steep again. With SIBMX, he has also landed a new sponsor who supports him with Sunday Bikes, Odyssey and Fuse Protection. Here is his Welcome Edit, for which Markus the dish 2.0, the Lohserampe and some Streetspots in Cologne has pre-buttoned. And lo and behold, he has forgotten nothing.

PS: Unfortunately Markus has hurt again a few days ago. At the Belgium Open in Hasselt, he has torn the band, which holds coals and lunar legs, and must be operated soon. We wish him all the best and a quick recovery!” – Freedom BMX

Happy Days: Kriss Kyle, Felix Prangenberg & Daniel Tünte in Copenhagen

September 1, 2017

Freedom BMX coming through with a fresh Happy Days video that’s bound to get you stoked. Kriss Kyle, Felix Prangenberg and Daniel Tunte recently spent some time exploring Copenhagen, Denmark, stacking clips on everything they touched. Each of these guys have different, unique styles and it shows on all the different spots they rode. Get on that play button and enjoy!

“After Barcelona and Glasgow, the third part of our Happy Days series is going to Copenhagen, where Kriss Kyle, Felix Prangenberg and Daniel Tünte have been out for a short week at the beginning of summer. But even though the three Nike boys were really on their way from sunrise to sunset on the streets of the capital of Denmark during their sightseeing, they managed to drive only a fraction of the incomparably many good spots there. Keyword “insider tip”! And the best thing is, it really does not seem to bother anyone in Copenhagen when you skate or run walls. On the contrary, the inhabitants of Copenhagen are exceptionally friendly and there are no problems of understanding, because even Danish children in the preschool age already speak accent-free English as their parents.

No wonder, then, that Kriss, Felix and Daniel felt comfortable in Copenhagen, and that it was hailing Banger. Happy days, in fact! In the video above you can see her clip exploitation. Have fun with it!

“The organizers of the Simple Summer Session 2017 in Riga made a very special location for their contest: the square in front of the Freedom Monument in the center of the Latvian capital. This is almost as if in Germany a BMX competition held in front of the Brandenburg Gate. After all, this 42-meter-high monument is the most historic square in the country. As a simple session, a bunch of well-known drivers came to Latvia, including Alex Donnachie, Kostya Andreev and Daniel Dhers, as well as a German delegation consisting of Daniel Tünte, Leon Hoppe, Moritz Nußbaumer and Felix Prangenberg. Unfortunately, the latter could not go with the contest, because he had twisted the knee shortly before arrival. Fortunately, the injury is half as wild, Felix ‘ribbons are definitely still intact, so he will soon sit back in the saddle. Until then, we wish him a good recovery! Even without the participation of the freedombmx Streetfahrer of the year 2016 went it during the contest well to the point. Here is our video with the highlights of the day.
