Vans Rebel Jam 2019 – Qualifier Highlights
The 2019 Vans Rebel Jam kicked off yesterday in Huntington Beach during the Vans US Open of Surfing. Some of the top street riders dropped in on the course that was built on the beach to throw down some wild moves. Here’s a quick highlight video above from the qualifier that Vans dropped, then get a look at how Dennis Enarson qualified for first below, along with the bunnyhop an high air contests below! Looks like it was an awesome day. Expect plenty more from the finals soon!
“The Vans Rebel Jam lit up on the new street course at the Vans US Open of Surfing presented by Swatch. Checkout all the highlights from the prelims today.” – Vans
“Groups of five riders had 15 minutes to ride the course at the Rebel Jam. That meant that some groups got like eight runs… So, needless to say, a lot of amazing riding went down. Apologies for the epically long video, but my goal is to always attempt to show why people placed the way they did…not just a quick highlight vid.” – Our BMX
“Vans Rebel Jam course is dope and the field is packed with something like 40 riders. The jam format had every rider dropping in enough times to really get everything they wanted done, and Dennis Enarson came away with the first spot into the finals.

Cinema BMX – Reynolds FX2 Freecoaster Wheel

Is it time for a new back wheel for your setup? Here’s a look at the Garrett Reynolds signature FX2 Freecoaster Wheel from Cinema BMX that might just be what you’re looking for. This wheel starts out with the Cinema FX2 Freecoaster Hub and is laced using 14-gauge stainless steel spokes and brass nipples with a 3-cross pattern to the Cinema Reynolds Rim that is bound to make for one strong and reliable wheel. This wheel also comes with the Cinema CR and DR nylon hub guards to protect both sides of your wheel which is always key if you’re grinding.
The Reynolds FX2 Freecoaster wheel is available in Right or Left Hand Drive with a 9-tooth driver in Black on Black or a Polished hub laced to a Black rim for $259.99 through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Cinema BMX worldwide now!
You can also find this wheel in the Cinema Webstore if you don’t have a local shop or favorite mail-order that carry Cinema.

This wheel is good enough to have Garrett Reynolds’ name on it, so unless you’re throwing down heavier riding than he is, there’s a good chance this freecoaster wheel can hold up to whatever you’re going to throw at it!

Check out what Chad Kerley, Garrett Reynolds, Devon Smillie, Dakota Roche, Alex Donnachie, Bruno Hoffmann, Nathan Williams, Sean Ricany, Felix Prangenberg and Lewis Mills threw down. This contest is going to be nuts.
“Technically, it’s not the first practice, but yesterday’s practice got rained out and I wasn’t there to film it…sooooo, does it really count? Either way, absolutely dialed riding from the street dudes, as expected.” – Our BMX
“Range of Motion” – Full Video
It looks like Echoboom Sports got their hands on the rights to upload the full “Range of Motion” video that Ride BMX released back in 2009 and features a seriously stacked list of riders that you’ll definitely recognize even though this video is 10 years old! Not only that, but Darryl Tocco handled the filming and editing for this one, so you already know it kicks a ton of ass. Hit play and take this all in!
“Ride BMX breaks down the barriers with Range of Motion. This feature film filmed and edited by Darryl Tocco showcases some of the best riders of today and tomorrow. ROM travels across the U.S. to meet up with Dennis Enarson, Tony Hamlin, Sergio Layos, and Dave Dillewaard to cover parks, dirt, and street riding. And since there’s a lot of ground to cover, Ride BMX fills in the blanks with Simon Tabron, Drew Bezanson, Darin Read, Ryan Wert, Cory Nastazio, Mike “Hucker” Clark, Luke Parslow, Adam Baker, Garrett Reynolds, Rob Wise, Tony Neyer, and Sean Sexton. Ride BMX doesn’t leave any stone unturned with Range of Motion and it will open your eyes to what’s possible.” – Echoboom Sports
Cinema BMX – Garrett Reynolds Signature Sessions
Here’s another gem that didn’t get posted up here during my time at Ride. Cinema BMX dropped this banger featuring Garrett Reynolds obliterating street spots with his signature Cinema Reynolds Rims. As always, Garrett delivers with some insane combos, and the film work Will Stroud produced is on point as expected. Give it a watch or two!
“Garrett Reynolds once again lays down nothing but hammers in his Signature Sessions edit to celebrate the release of his all new signature Reynolds rim. From Cali to Barca to Montreal and back, Garrett puts his rims to the test. The Reynolds rim is available separately or as complete front and rear freecoaster wheels at finer bike shops and mail orders worldwide…
