If you’re looking for a good time in Latvia this summer, the annual GGFest is the place to be! This years event is going down July 27th – 29th with Park, Street and Dirt contests, bringing out some of the top riders from Latvia and from around the world. Get more details below!

“GGFEST is a wild action sports festival by the Baltic Sea in Latvia. The BMX side of things is organized by the riders for the riders and everyone who’s ever attended will confirm that this is as authentic of a BMX vibe as you can get these days. For 2018 the dates are set for July 27-29. Everyone is welcome to join riders from all over in the small and welcoming town of Ventspils, Latvia to celebrate what we all love about BMX!

Here’s a few special moments from last year’s street, park and dirt jams. You’ll catch moves by a great variety of well known names like Jack Clark, Mike Curley, Dan Paley, Brian Fox, Jonathan Camacho, Daniel Dhers, Mati Lasgoity and many more.

It’s that time of the year again! The crew at GGFest over in Latvia are starting to get the wheels rolling for this years contest going down at the end of July! Here’s a little promo video they whipped up with footage from last years contest. This contest looks like a real good time, so if you’re looking for something to do in July… This might be for you!

“In a modern day world entertainment has peaked to such hights that riders have to perform circus trickery on ramps built to send one to the moon while doing a quad backflip.

At this point an event like GGFEST is a breath of fresh air. We take it back to the good ol’ days when contests were actually fun. It started with kids building plywood ramps and dirt jumps in their backyard and that’s what it still is in a way. The spirit of actual BMX freestyle is alive and well at the Ghetto Games festival in Latvia!
