“With effortless style and tricks for days, Gustavo Balaloka’s riding is always easy on the eyes. His section from Can You Film This? exemplifies why this Brazilian native is one of the greatest riders in South America.

CYFT highlights GT’s up and coming generation of riders. Initially a project to not let the typically bro-cam footage that was stacking up go to waste from those “Hey dude, Can You Film This?” moments. In time, the project gained momentum and evolved into a full-length we couldn’t be more proud of. After initially premiering CYFT on OurBMX.com, we’re now releasing the individual sections here.” – GT

Profile Racing – Gustavo Bala Loka Welcome Video

May 6, 2022

Profile Racing have added Gustavo Bala Loka to their team! Hit play to watch him absolutely CRUSH it on parks and dirt jumps, making it easy to see just why Profile picked him up. Gustavo has been making waves for a bit now, but it seems like this year has already been really going off for him. So expect to see plenty more of Gustavo in the future!

““Have you heard of Bala loka?”
Anthony Napolitan had asked us a couple years ago after a trip to Brazil.
“I can’t explain his riding, you just have to see it…”

April, 2022.
Bala loka was making his way up and down the East Coast via Brazil, The Wheelmill Welcome Jam, Woodward, etc..

A good portion of his clips circulating were simply him blasting at unreal height with the questions; where did the speed come from? How was getting that high, on that quarter, possible?

We were to rendezvous at Swampfest, to finally meet up as I’ve always felt strongly about knowing/connecting with the riders we support.

After finding an island of dry dirt in the swamp, I walked down to the street course, specifically the cereal bowl box, and witnessed, for the first time, first hand, Balaloka’s riding.

There, Anthony’s nebulous description made sense, instantly.

A ball of energy (that doesn’t recede), finesse, power, and style…
This narrative gives no justice.

Bala loka’s Welcome edit offers you a good introduction.
But as Anthony said, you have to see him ride, in person to comprehend, fully, what’s going on…

It was a great weekend to catch up.

Humble. Mellow. His strong dedication and friendship to his bBMX crew was something to admire.
A perfect connection with our brand, and we’re honored to have him on board.

Welcome to the Profile Family, Bala loka.” – Matt Coplon (Profile Racing)

“Spoiled with skateparks… Gustavo Balaloka, Leandro Moreira, and Mason Ritter make like transition tourists, hitting up as many SoCal parks as they can in four days. Dropping into Dennis Enarson’s ramp, The Clairemont skatepark, Vans Of The Wall, and more. With cameos from GT riders Parker Heath, Chelsea Wolfe, Omar Rios, and Brendan Wirkus.” – GT

GT – Leandro Moreira & Gustavo Balaloka At Caracas Trails

February 12, 2021

GT Bicycles dropped a new video featuring Leandro Moreira, Gustavo Balalocka and a few others throwing down at the Caracas Trails down in Sao Paulo! As always, there’s a bunch of crazy riding going down on these massive jumps, along with a bit of an interview to go along with tit! Hit play and enjoy!

“If you’ve ever seen footage or photos of Leandro Moreira flying high, while executing tricks with absolute perfection, unless it were at a big event like X Games, it was most likely at his local stomping grounds, the Caracas trails. Located in the outskirts of Sao Paulo, Brazil, the Caracas trails are so big you can literally see them on the map. They’re also home to Leandro’s upcoming protégé, Gustavo Balaloka. Watching these two ride together is incredibly easy on the eyes. But don’t take our word for it, tune in for the show, and stick around to learn a little about their backgrounds and how they got to where they’re at today.

You’re going to want to get familiar with Gustavo because we have a feeling that we’ll be seeing plenty more of him in the future.

This video was submitted filmed/edited by Felipe Correa. ”
