Red Bull – Irek Rizaev BMX Flow at Kazan Kremlin
Red Bull is always coming up with some crazy videos for their team riders. Here’s a new one featuring Irek Rizaev cruising through a bunch of ramps setup in Kazan Kremlin that weaved him in and out and all around the place. We can’t imagine what it took to make this video happen from all the ramps being built to keeping the drone on track and everything. Really cool! Check it out!
“Could this be the coolest BMX line ever?!
21-year-old Russian BMX champion, Irek Rizaev builds his dream skatepark in the heart of the Kazan Kremlin citadel in Russia.
Shooting from the perspective of an FPV drone, Irek recruits assistance of Tomz FPV to capture the best of his BMX tricks in the iconic citadel. The team carefully worked out each stage of the project on the territory of the UNESCO World Heritage Site and acted as carefully as possible. It was important to simultaneously achieve the stability of the figures and at the same time not to damage the ancient walls. The success of the project once again confirmed the deserved place of the Russian among the best BMX athletes in the world.” – Red Bull

Red Bull – Sand Castle Project
Kostya Andreev and Irek Rizaev throw down on a crazy sand castle ramp setup in this video from Red Bull!
We have seen some crazy setups to ride over the years from Red Bull and they never fail to completely blow our minds on what is possible. The other week we got the Mirror Park video, now today we get a video featuring Kostya Andreev and Irek Rizaev throwing down on a frozen SAND CASTLE! Well, we’re not 100% sure what this thing is actually made of, but it looks like a sand castle and it seems to hold up well to the riding these guys throw down on it. Even with the cold temperatures, which were sure is how they held this all together, the guys were able to produce! This turned out damn good and it’s well worth a watch! Check it out right now and make sure you give it a share!
“Two of Russia’s best BMXers head to the freezing northwest of their country to embark on a unique skatepark build.
Four hundred tons of sand and water, frozen to almost concrete-levels of hardness. This was the material chosen to construct a giant skatepark castle on the shores of Lake Ladoga in Northwest Russia. The unusual playground was the brainchild of Kostya Andreev and Irek Rizaev.
Everyone is familiar with building sand castles; fragile structures unable to withstand the returning tide. Irek and Kostya decided to build a bigger-size castle suitable for BMX riding.
It took the pair quite a while to choose exactly the right location for building the park. Eventually, they selected the northern part of Lake Ladoga where they found a beach with a beautiful view and access to the water. In the winter, the air temperature is incredibly low – perfect for ensuring the sustainability of the build.
Only two ingredients were used for constructing the park: sand and water.
At -30 Degrees Celsius, frozen sand was very similar to concrete in its properties and provided excellent grip. Irek and Kostya rode several truly frosty sessions and managed to demonstrate a totally stunning performance” – Red Bull
