Larry Edgar: Mini Ramp Destruction + New Frame Sponsor – More BMX Videos

Here’s some news some of you might have seen coming if you saw that Larry Edgar had parted ways with SE Bikes at the start of the year. Larry has been given the bump up to the Fly Bikes Pro team at the start of the year after running just their parts for a good part of last year. Watch as Larry destroys the SD Wheel Works mini ramp in the video above from Vital BMX that dropped with the news. Below are a few words from Fly Bikes as well…

XSA Invitational 2015 – BMX Park Highlights

The other day we got a look at the XSA Invitational Street Highlights, now we get a look at the Park highlights! Check out some seriously insane riding that went down from some of Russia’s finest and a few of the U.S’ like Larry Edgar, who took the win. There’s definitely a few NBD’s in this.

“Don’t let the media fool you, Russia is one of my personal favorite travel destinations in the world. So different, so passionate, and so, so wild. When myself, Pat Casey, Kevin Peraza, Larry Edgar, and Catfish were invited to Sochi, Russia, to be a part of the XSA Invitational this year, we jumped at the chance.

A dope event held during the Formula One race in “Sochifornia” along the black sea. With roller coasters and 1000hp race cars flying near by, the best park riders in Russia laid down hammers until the sun went down. If you’re reading this description before you’ve watched the video, then you’ll see these dudes are machines. Whip game on point. Quadruple barspins. 540 double whips. Seriously progressive riding that rivals anywhere else in the world. But, what separates these dudes from other countries is the passion and love. It’s hard to describe, but trust me, it’s something you should experience one day. Fuck the politics, go to Russia!

Larry Edgar Interview

Over the years, we’ve seen a lot of riders that bring something very unique to their riding that really make them stand out. Whether it’s a crazy bag of tricks or style, there’s always that thing that burns a name into your memory. Over the course of the past year or so, Larry Edgar is a name that has been BLASTING his name into our memory with some of the biggest airs and a ton of style. Recently, Larry has been popping up more and more between contests and edits and was recently added to the Fly Bikes team, so we figured there was no way we could wait to get to know this guy better. Fly Bikes – Larry Edgar Welcome Video

Here’s some news that some of you might have caught on to while watching Larry Edgar blast to the moon during the Van Doren Invitational the other weekend… Fly Bikes have officially added him to their team! It sounds like he’s still riding for SE Bikes as well, similar to how Matt Roe rides for Mutiny. Either way, they dropped this damn good video to go along with the news!

“When it comes to our team, we are always looking to find riders that have a recognizable style and know how to make riding BMX look good. We have been big fans of Larry Edgar’s riding that is fast paced and packed full of style. Plus, Larry is just as awesome off his bike as he is on it, which made it an easy decision to add him to our line up.

2015 Van Doren Invitational Practice – Day 1

What happens when you drop a ton of guys like Chase Hawk, Greg Illingworth, Dean Cueson, Dan Foley, Maxime Charveron, Matt Roe, Larry Edgar, Kris Fox, Tom Dugan, Scotty Cranmer and a handful more of BMX’s best bowl riders (and let’s be real, most stylish) in for a session together? Amazing riding goes down. Take a look at what went down during the first day of practice for this years Van Doren Invitational in California! This contest is going to be nuts!

“Being on the deck at the 2015 Van Doren Invitational is a bit nuts… It’s essentially the most stacked bowl session of the century (with 30 of the best bowl riders in the world), and everyone has just a single hour heat to figure shit out. They somehow do figure shit out, and the result is a mixture of flowy speed, style, and tricks… Major shoutout to Larry Edgar and the triple tabletop in here, more to come tomorrow.

“The Wetlands trails are a southern california gem that have somehow remained well-hidden, while being right under everyone’s noses for years. Local dudes Anthony Napolitan and Mike “Hucker” Clark are joined by Dylan Stark, Cory Nastazio, Larry Edgar, Matt Cordova, and many more during the first big session since some remodeling went down earlier this year.
