With fewer and fewer BMX DVD’s being produced every year, it’s getting more and more exciting when an actual BMX video comes out in a hard copy form that you can pop into the DVD player and watch on your TV. What’s even better is when a brand is putting heavy time, energy and resources into producing a video that is worth watching it in that format versus online. Over the course of the past three years, The Shadow Conspiracy team have been busy bouncing around the world stacking clips for their “What Could Go Wrong?” DVD that we have been hearing about since they initially started working on the video. After three years, countless trips and a lot of ups and downs, the video was finally premiered this past weekend in New York City at the House of Vans. Approximately the same time that premiere was going down, we popped open the mailbox to find a copy of the video waiting for us to enjoy. After watching the video, we decided it would be a good idea to get a review out before you drop some money on a copy…
Mark Burnett on Shadow Conspiracy Pro Team
Here’s some news that you should have seen coming for quite a while now! The Shadow Conspiracy have added Mark Burnett to their Pro team! Check out the official word below and make sure you check out his part in “What Could Go Wrong?”, because that’s another VERY clear indicator as to why he got the bump up! Mark is a shredder!
“Shadow is proud to introduce to the world its newest Pro team member, Mark Burnett (@mark_burnett). We’ve known Mark for the better part of three years now and in that short amount of time we’ve seen him grow from the 14 year-old Woodward camper with all the questions to a 17 year-old man with the ability to change the future of BMX. Exemplified in his incredible “What Could Go Wrong?” video part, Mark is unparalleled in his ability to create new and creative moves on street. We are so stoked to have him as a part of our family and to see how much further he can go in the amazing years to come.”
The Shadow Conspiracy – “What Could Go Wrong” Trailer
The anticipated DVD from The Shadow Conspiracy “What Could Go Wrong” is due out in August and it’s bound to be an absolute BANGER of a BMX video. They just released the trailer for the video and it’s just over 2 minutes of what we can describe as a WILD RIDE through three years of filming. We CANNOT WAIT to see this video!
“What could go wrong? A question every rider asks themselves before trying something new. Sometimes the answer is good and sometimes, it’s bad. You might find yourself rolling away from a set of stairs smiling ear to ear, or you may find yourself at the bottom of that same set of stairs bloody and beaten. There’s never a definite answer. Whatever happens though, in the end, it’s really about how you got there.
Hit play to watch the new trailer for “What Could Go Wrong?”, the third full-length video from The Shadow Conspiracy coming August 2015!

Sunday – Mark Burnett Welcome to the Pro Team
Mark Burnett is one of the young guns that has been absolutely KILLING IT lately and it looks like he got the well deserved bump up to the Sunday Bikes pro team! If you have to ask why, I advise you hit play and let “holy shit” come out of your mouth a few times! MUST SEE.
““That sucks you have to do that. Who would want to write about a piece of shit 16-year-old?”
That’s what Mark Burnett, Sunday’s newest pro, said when I told him I need to write something announcing his newfound status on the pro team. Of course Mark was kidding, but I still take exception. He may love his sketchy teenager image, but Mark is an awesome kid with a good head on his shoulders. While he does often have a lot in common with the piece of shit 16-year-old he speaks of, I find him to be a surprisingly mature and reasonable young man. When he wants to be.
But seriously, it is with great excitement that we announce Mark Burnett is now a member of the Sunday pro team. There’s no question Mark is a pro-level rider, and I’m sure you’ll all agree he 100% deserves it. The kid knows what he’s doing on a bike, and I really feel he hasn’t even come into his own yet. Sunday turns 10 years old in 2015; we’ve got some exciting stuff planned this year, and we’re stoked Mark is on board.” – Walter Pieringer
