September 15, 2016

Intro

“The long awaited web release for our third full-length DVD “What Could Go Wrong?” is finally at hand. Starting off strong with the incredible intro section showing what three years of hard work, dedication, and everything in-between results in. What Could Go Wrong is right!

Trey Jones

“Shadow rider Trey Jones starts off our third full-length DVD “What Could Go Wrong?” with a BANG! From huge gaps to tech nose manual lines, Trey can and will do it all. Trey left nothing on the table when it came to this section and it’s sure to be a classic for years to come.

Joris Coulomb

“The mystical French BMX master Joris Coulomb comes through with one of his strongest DVD sections to date in Shadow’s third full-length video “What Could Go Wrong?” With unbelievable bike control, Joris is sure to blow your mind with his mix of tech and burly maneuvers including crazy crank flips and even wilder tire rides.

Seth Kimbrough

“The longest standing Shadow team member Seth Kimbrough has been a legend for years now, but that hasn’t meant he’s slowed down at all. Case in point, his absolute fire section in our third full-length DVD “What Could Go Wrong?” If you want classic Seth riding, watch and learn.

Eric Bahlman

“There are few dudes who have really become one with their freecoaster and Arizona Shadow rider Eric Bahlman is one of them. With his insane balance, Eric’s section in our third full-length DVD “What Could Go Wrong?” is one that will never be duplicated.

Scott Ditchburn & Paul Ryan

“The dynamic, English duo of Scott Ditchburn and Paul Ryan come together with an incredibly impressive split section mixing their two unique styles of riding in to one. Grinds that will make your head spin and combos that don’t make any sense, the lads make for one of our favorite parts in our third full-length DVD “What Could Go Wrong?”

Mix Section

“The Shadow Conspiracy has always prided ourselves in having one of the strongest families in BMX and it shows in this heavy hitting mix section from our third full-length DVD “What Could Go Wrong?” From French connect Kevin Kalkoff riding full speed to Matt Ray slanging bars faster than the speed of light, if you want to see the dudes go in, don’t miss this part.

Albert Mercado

“What more is there to say about Shadow rider Albert Mercado‘s section in our third full-length DVD “What Could Go Wrong?” other than it is ABSOLUTELY INSANE. The dude does so many tricks that shouldn’t be possible on set ups that shouldn’t be rideable that it makes for one of the most entertaining parts in the video. Stop reading and get to watching!

Johnny Devlin

“The sleeper shredder Johnny Devlin pulled out all the stops while filming for his section in our third full-length DVD “What Could Go Wrong?” From the first trip to the last, Johnny went full speed and left no unique spot unridden. If you want some classic BMX riding, this is the part for you.

Mark Burnett

“The youngest member of the Shadow Conspiracy squad Mark Burnett worked hard on this part starting as a flow rider and ending up as a full fledged member of the Pro team. There’s a reason he was given the bump and this section is part of it. Big rails, tech ledge lines, and a style he can only call his own, Mark is at the front of new school BMX and his “What Could Go Wrong?” DVD section shows it.

Throughout the process, Lah knew exactly what and where he wanted to film and we made sure it happened. With clips from all over the world, this section shows just how thought out and determined he was. Enjoy!

Pushing the levels of riding in all areas, Simone’s incredible style makes for one of the best video parts we have ever seen. There’s nothing else to say other than WATCH THIS!

“The Credits section is the best part of any great video because it gives the viewer the opportunity to look behind the scenes of what it was like to film a full-length video. With all the laughs, smiles, and good times, filming for “What Could Go Wrong?” was an experience none of us will ever forget and now you won’t have to either.

Shadow Conspiracy – Johnny Devlin: Pedaling Distance

March 16, 2016

We’re not quite sure where Johnny Devlin calls home, but we can tell you that where ever it is, we’re pretty jealous after watching this. Watch as Johnny goes to work on spots all around where his house is that are within pedaling distance. Obviously, pedaling distance can range pretty far for people, but it’s safe to say Johnny didn’t pedal 5 miles to ride most of these. It looks like his decision to go pegless and throw a freecoaster on worked out.

“The best part about riding BMX is the ability to just pedal your bike in a direction and seeing what you can find. From back alleys to warehouse districts, spots are everywhere. Shadow rider Johnny Devlin always has this in mind when filming and can constantly be seen ducking around corners looking for those hidden gems. His latest Shadow edit “Pedaling Distance” is exactly that, spots all found within pedaling distance of his house.

Don’t forget to pick up a pair of Johnny Devlin’s newly released signature Shadow Crowbar four-piece handlebars available now wherever Shadow products are sold!

The Shadow Conspiracy have caught up with Johnny Devlin for a fresh Bike Check giving us a closer look at his current setup that has seen quite a few changes. As many of you recall, Johnny has been running brakes, 3 pegs and a cassette for quite some time. After “What Could Go Wrong?” filming wrapped up, he decided it was time to make a drastic change to his setup to freshen riding up for himself. Johnny is now brakeless, pegless and on a freecoaster which is complete night and day from where he was before. Review: The Shadow Conspiracy – “What Could Go Wrong?”

August 10, 2015

shadow-conspiracy-what-could-go-wrong-bmx-video

With fewer and fewer BMX DVD’s being produced every year, it’s getting more and more exciting when an actual BMX video comes out in a hard copy form that you can pop into the DVD player and watch on your TV. What’s even better is when a brand is putting heavy time, energy and resources into producing a video that is worth watching it in that format versus online. Over the course of the past three years, The Shadow Conspiracy team have been busy bouncing around the world stacking clips for their “What Could Go Wrong?” DVD that we have been hearing about since they initially started working on the video. After three years, countless trips and a lot of ups and downs, the video was finally premiered this past weekend in New York City at the House of Vans. Approximately the same time that premiere was going down, we popped open the mailbox to find a copy of the video waiting for us to enjoy. After watching the video, we decided it would be a good idea to get a review out before you drop some money on a copy…

The Shadow Conspiracy – “What Could Go Wrong” Trailer

June 2, 2015

The anticipated DVD from The Shadow Conspiracy “What Could Go Wrong” is due out in August and it’s bound to be an absolute BANGER of a BMX video. They just released the trailer for the video and it’s just over 2 minutes of what we can describe as a WILD RIDE through three years of filming. We CANNOT WAIT to see this video!

“What could go wrong? A question every rider asks themselves before trying something new. Sometimes the answer is good and sometimes, it’s bad. You might find yourself rolling away from a set of stairs smiling ear to ear, or you may find yourself at the bottom of that same set of stairs bloody and beaten. There’s never a definite answer. Whatever happens though, in the end, it’s really about how you got there.

Hit play to watch the new trailer for “What Could Go Wrong?”, the third full-length video from The Shadow Conspiracy coming August 2015!
