Mike O’Connell is still crushing it at 50!

Over the years we’ve seen more and more riders staying on their bikes into their 30’s and 40’s, but we’ve also seen a few hit that level 5. Mike O’Connell recently turned 50, and to celebrate he released this new edit packed with dialed riding to celebrate. We’re loving all of the front brake magic, combos and a bit more of the mid school tech ramp riding that we don’t get to see nearly enough anymore. It’s safe to say Mike has plenty more years of riding left after seeing just how good this one was!

YES! Here’s a rad BMX video that Mike O’Connell dropped online for everyones viewing pleasure! Mike might be one of the “older” dudes, but he’s definitely no stranger to the front brake magic! Check out a bunch of footage he collected over the course of 2015 where he put those front brakes to good use at a handful of different skateparks. Great watch from start to finish. We can always use more guys like Mike to keep things interesting!
