Sweetwater Bike Park Grand Opening

January 6, 2020

There’s a wild new bike park that opened up near San Diego called the Sweetwater Bike Park. This place looks like a TON of fun and it looks like Mike “Hucker” Clark, Gary Young, Anthony Napolitan, TJ Ellis and a ton of other people took advantage of the place during its grand opening. This is a lot of raw footage, but it gives you an idea of what the place has to offer. It’s safe to say there’s another reason to make your way out west to San Diego!

“Random story: I actually drove by this place a few times in the last few months and it was super confusing to me. It looked like a BMX track, but it was obviously not finished and I couldn’t really get a good look at it. Little did I know that it was an in-progress bike park that was free and open to the public. I headed out the grand opening for a little pre-session with the dudes and here’s the raw cut along with a GoPro preview of the park thanks to Anthony Napoiltan and Justin Mclintock. If you’re in the San Diego area, check out the Sweetwater Bike Park at 6065 San Miguel Rd, Bonita, CA. It’s open from 9:30am to sunset. Fair warning, they don’t allow pegs because of the nature of the way the place is made. ” – Our BMX

Here’s some other info on the place on the SDparks.org website.

What do you think of the Sweetwater Bike Park? Would you take a trip out to San Diego to ride the place? Anyone have any places similar to this in their area? Let us now what you’re thinking in the comments down below!

.. We just need a Gorge Road style bike park here in the U.S… Now that would be wild!

Demarcus Paul – Night Moves

January 6, 2020

With BMX becoming more and more complex with its riding, this BMX video featuring Demarcus Paul doing nothing but bunnyhops over things is kind of refreshing. It’s something super basic, but he puts it to use on so many different setups and spots that it is honestly a good watch from start to finish. This one is well worth a look!

“A video with no tricks? Basically. When I met up with Demarcus to do the Bunnyhop How-To video, we cruised downtown San Diego and it was such a fun little cruise literally bunny hopping as many things as possible that I figured I’d just throw it into a little edit. Obviously nothing serious by any means…hopefully you enjoy the vibe.” – Our BMX

Chad Kerley & Mike Gray – Drop The Pin

December 30, 2019

Here’s a new Drop The Pin from Our BMX featuring some of the Haro team going to work on spots out in San Diego. You know when you put Chad Kerley, Mike Gray, Blake Peters and Austyn Macintosh to work on any spot, they’re going to produce some real solid riding. Here’s a look at what they got into along the way!

“Mike Gray was in town for a few days, so we organized a little DTP session for you guys with the Haro squad. Mike, Chad Kerley, Blake Peters (who was fresh off a broken wrist) and newcomer to the Haro team, Austyn Mcintosh, all dropped the pin in a bit of an industrial area in the middle of SD. It seemed pretty promising in the beginning, but we ended up being stuck on one side of the freeway and pedaling crazy far (the gopro actually died at a point, so it was even further than it looked) and got burnt out after a few spots. Nonethless, I think the squad pulled through…” – Our BMX

Christmas Eve In The Streets with Mike Hoder and Hobie Doan

December 27, 2019

It was the day before Christmas and the spots were free for the taking. Mike Hoder and Hobie Doan spent the day out cruising spots around Los Angeles stacking clips for this new edit. As expected, both of these guys ended up stacking plenty of rad clips worth checking out! Hit play and take it all in!

“Mike Hoder and Hobie Doan drove down to LA for Christmas and they took full advantage of the nice weather and reasonably empty streets and had a day in West LA on Christmas Eve.

Film/edit: Jeff Zielinski” – Our BMX

Dirt World Fly Park – Pro BMX Finals Highlights

December 18, 2019

Why can’t more dirt contests look like this one? Here’s a highlight video Our BMX put together from the BMX finals at the Dirt World Fly Park contest in Argentina. This is a mix of familiar faces and a few you might not know about absolutely shredding these amazing looking trails! Plenty of gol to check out in this one, so hit play an enjoy!

“You’d never guess it, some of the most perfectly sculpted trails are nestled deep in the Patagonian region of Argentina. Over the last 4 years Neuquén native Marian Arguedas has worked hard to host one of the most unique dirt events to be held in the world. When he’s not manicuring Dirt World Flypark, he’s teaching a Bmx school with all age levels and over 40 kids at the Dirt parks pump track and beginner jumps. If you’re a dirt jumper and you haven’t been here yet, you for sure need to add this place to your bucket list. Big thanks to Marian and the city of Neuquén for supporting Bmx and Dirt World Flypark.” — Anthony Napolitan

Ty Wade – Knucklehead Ninja

December 17, 2019

We’re not too familiar with Ty Wade, but when you send yourself down El Toro and can take a slam like this guy, it’s no surprise that the video had plenty of gems on rails, ledges, rooftops and more. Ty sent it, and he definitely ended up with a BMX video worth taking a look!

“Ty Recently came out to Long Beach to ride and film with the boys for a few weeks. Along the way he encountered a few unfortunate speed bumps and sadly got his bike stolen the first week he was here. After about two weeks with no bike the homies were able to piece him together a new one! Someone even tried to rob him at gunpoint for the new bike but Ty wasn’t having it and was able to make a clean escape. These are the clips we filmed after around a weeks worth of after work filming sessions. Huge shout out to Ty for doing whatever it takes to get shit done and for not being scared to step to any setup in his way like a true Knucklehead Ninja!” – Keegan Bohannon

Chris “Speedy” Gonzalez – BMX Beach Dog Daze

December 16, 2019

Christopher “Speedy” Gonzalez coming through with a fresh edit from his time he’s been living in Southern California so far! Chris went to work stacking clips on spots galore, and included a few guest clips from some familiar faces like Ben Silver and Charles Littlejohn. Chris delivered plenty of grinds, a few big drops and more for this one, making for a real solid watch. Take a peek!

“Throughout my journey in SoCal I managed to find myself living in Venice for a couple months while in the process of finding a place to settle. I decided why not make a video riding only spots based in Venice/Santa Monica. After going out and filming about every other weekend. This short video came to life and I must say I had a great time filming for it. I appreciate my good friend Keegan Bohannon for coming out and helping with filming this part as well as my roommate Diego Bravo and many more homies who were around in the sessions that put their filming skills to the test. Overall, I have to say Venice was tight and quite an experience and I hope everyone enjoys this short video. Thank you.” — Christopher “Speedy” Gonzalez
