Red Bull – Courage Adams: Encouraged

This is intense. Red Bull took Courage Adams back to Nigeria where he was born. During the trip, he spent his time riding, meeting the locals, experiencing everything around him and more. Courage calls Madrid, Spain home these days, but going back to see how different the BMX scene is in Nigeria was definitely an eye opening experience. This documentary style video gives us a look at what was going on from start to finish with this trip, along with some riding and perspective. It looks like it was an amazing trip to us. “At age 12 Courage Adams started riding BMX, but by age 16 he’d turned pro, taken the BMX world by storm and made the most of his parents’ bold move. Now, he returns to his roots in Nigeria, discovering new connections amongst a community of like-minded bike lovers.

BMX street is one of the most frequently evolving sports in the world. Fashions come and go as pro riders flit between the contest scene and their latest video release. In Nigeria, things are a bit different.

Follow Courage, Starboy, KK Money and S-King as we return to the streets of Lagos, Nigeria’s largest city, to illustrate just what a difference riding bikes has made to their lives and what their hopes are for the history of the sport in their town.

Danny MacAskill – Gymnasium

We’re always stoked on checking out a new Danny MacAskill video. Despite it not being BMX, there’s a lot of BMX influence in the riding. Red Bull dropped this new video featuring Danny absolutely crushing it in a gymnasium. The tricks he’s doing on the setups are absolutely amazing. There’s also a lot of laughs and easter egg type things in this as well. Check this one out! Although this is awesome, the Going Crazy In A Gymnasium series that Brian Gregor and Rusty Prady did a few years back is still our favorite videos from a gymnasium, haha. When a brand like Red Bull wants to do a photoshoot with a guy like Matthias Dandois, you know the photos are going to turn out rad. Here’s a behind the scenes look at a photoshoot Matthias recently did in New York that mixed riding and lifestyle shots. If you are into photography or just want to see what actually goes into a photoshoot for a project like this, this is definitely worth a look!

Red Bull Uncontained – Could This Be The Biggest Park Comp Yet?

The other day we got a look at the first practice sessions for Red Bull Uncontained and it looked absolutely INSANE. Now today we get a look at a little more practice that these guys got in on the MASSIVE ramps and at Area 51 Skatepark, along with some fun the crew has been having as well. First Practice at Red Bull Uncontained With Drew Bezanson & Daniel Wedemeijer

Remember Drew Bezanson‘s insane Uncontainable video from a few years back? Well, Red Bull decided to do a contest based around the concept with some insanely large ramps and inviting 14 riders to join Drew and Daniel Wedemeijer to ride the ramps! Here’s a loo at the first few days of practice that gives you a look at the insane ramps and some of the riding and fun these guys are getting into! We’re not exactly sure on the format, but it appears to be a head to head bracket style contest. Either way, with ramps this crazy, we’re sure we’ll see some damn amazing riding. After a streak of injuries that kept him pretty limited the past few years, it looks like Drew Bezanson is healthy and back to absolutely shredding. Red Bull just dropped this banger featuring Drew crushing it with big combos, transfer lines and wallrides.
