A few weeks ago when I was building up my new setup, I decided it was probably time to try out a set of new forks. I don’t know if you have looked around much lately or not, but there are A LOT of different options. I counted 46 on one of the mail-orders. After looking around quite a bit, I decided on picking up the Shadow Conspiracy Vultus forks. A friend of mine had picked up a set and I liked the feel of his bike, so why not? Right? Etnies Number Mid

A few weeks ago, I got my hands (or feet?) on a pair of the new colorway of the Aaron Ross signature Etnies Number mids. I figured there had been a lot of hype about the shoes, and they seemed to be designed real well to hold up to BMX. At least, I’d hope so. It’s Aaron’s shoe and he needs something that can hold up to the riding he gets into. I decided it would be a good idea to give these a go for a few weeks and see how well they held up. Review: Orchid “Footwork”

Orchid Footwork

A few weeks back, Derek Adams and I were talking about the Orchid On the Horizon we are working on. We started talking about their new DVD that was nearing completion at the time entitled “Footwork”. Derek asked if I would be interested in checking out an advanced copy. There’s no way I could say no with guys like Van Homan, Niki Croft, Brian Hunt and Brian Wizmerski in the line up. Fast forward to a few days ago and I get a package in the mail from Pennsylvania with a DVD enclosed. Opening the package left me wondering what to expect since it came in an old 8 Mile Bonus dvd case with a burned DVD-R inside. It’s BMX, you gotta be ready for humor like that. Review: Nike 6.0 MVRK Mid 2 & Melee

A few weeks back I got a few pairs of Nike 6.0‘s to give a go. The two I was working with are the MVRK Mid 2’s and the Melee. I’ve always been a fan of the Nike 6.0 lines minus some of their wacky colorways they have come up with, but that’s what works and kids eat them up. Who am I to tell Nike what color to make their shoes? Regardless! I’ve been cruising around in the shoes lately and this is what I think of them!
