Mic’d Up with Tom Dugan

These Mic’d Up videos from Ride BMX are always hilarious, but it’s even better when you strap a microphone on Tom Dugan! This time around they had Tom mic’d up during the Socal Road Trip during a trails jam at Mike Saavedra‘s spot. “I met up with the Rockstar dudes during filming for their Socal Road Trip edit and decided to throw the ol’ mic on the one and only Tom Dugan. To be honest, I edited this a couple weeks ago and kinda forgot exactly what goes down. I do remember that there’s lots of cussing, Chase Hawk run commentary, and incredible amounts of randomness from the brain of Mr. Dugan.

The Street Series 2017 – BMX Day In Melbourne

There has been no shortage of footage popping up from The Street Series and BMX Day jams all over the world. Here’s another one from The Street Series stop in Melbourne, Australia with some of the Wethepeople team. “One day around the world, BMXers hit the streets for the honorary BMX Day (it’s actually 7/20, but The Street Series pushes it to the closest Saturday). This year I jumped on a 16 hour plane ride, landed at 8am, and was in the streets by 11am to witness the Australian BMX scene in its full fucking awesomeness. If I’m being honest, I did a rather poor job of capturing just how hilarious and awesome the day was. Constant heckling, laughs from every direction, and some downright awesome riding from the locals. Ed Zunda was the official host of the day, but he’s a man of few words, so just enjoy the randomness.

If you pay attention to street riding, there’s no doubt that Johnny Atencio has popped up on your radar plenty of times before now, but he’s still a newer name that has been crushing it out in the streets. Ride BMX just dropped this new AM Spotlight where Johnny slays spots out in Southern California. If you’re into grinds and smooth lines, this BMX video is for you!

Johnny had ridden the Chase Hawk Born and Raised AM Jam all day in the blistering heat, and I’m talking brutal heat, so much so that Johnny’s forearm cramped up on the way to the spot. First Ever Fakie to Fakie Front Flip – Kody Bricen

It’s kind of crazy to think about the level of riding that BMX is on these days. We’re seeing a lot of tricks that people didn’t think were possible and probably never even imagined or considered. Since the freecoaster took over, there’s been a lot of progression being made when it comes to fakie tricks. We’ve seen guys like Pat Casey and Big Boy send fakie to front flips on quaterpipes before, but we’ve never seen somebody send a fakie front flip over a jump, land fakie and pull the roll out. Kody Bricen decided to set up a kind of ghetto pallet resi / spine setup and see if he could send the trick. Here’s a video showing you a few of the attempts and then ultimately landing the trick. Who would have imagined a trick like this would be going down in somebody’s backyard?
