Tammy McCarley – 20169

December 21, 2016

You can’t go wrong with some Tammy McCarley footage. Here’s his latest batch of goodness that he cooked up over the course of this past year on spots he came across. Fast and smooth style, big grinds and wallrides and more. Really stoked to see a few X-Ups get mixed into this one, too.

“Tammy McCarley might just be the most underrated rider in Arizona right now, and today the man turns 26-years-old!! These clips were filmed over the past year, here and there while out and about with the homies. Tammy is such a well-rounded rider, from linking ledge lines to stalling massive sub-walls out of ditches, this does not disappoint!” – Ride BMX

AM Spotlight – Hobie Doan

December 16, 2016

If your radar isn’t on Hobie Doan just yet, this new AM Spotlight that Ride BMX just released should do the trick. Hit play to watch Hobie go to work on spots along with some words from a few pros and industry dudes who already are on the Hobie train. Check this one out!

“Hobie Doan is a mild mannered young man from a small town in Oregon. But after catching the eye of Shawn Mac, Hobie found himself getting hooked up by the Portland based Goods BMX shop, and soon-after support from S&M and Animal Bikes followed. Hobie has that classic NorthWest style consisting of amazing pop, max extension, and rail-confidence beyond his years, plus a way of doing tricks where less is usually more. When dudes like Morgan Long, Shad Johnson, Shawn Macintosh, and Charlie Crumlish have your back, you’re definitely doing something right. Ladies and gentlemen… Hobie Doan.”

Shadow Conspiracy – Johnny Atencio: Los Angeles Dreaming

December 13, 2016

If you haven’t picked up on Johnny Atencio yet, we’re going to tell you that you really should have this guy on your radar. Here’s another really dialed reason! Hit play to watch Johnny slay spots for The Shadow Conspiracy where he slays a bunch of rails and cooks up some real solid lines. It’s safe to say Johnny isn’t scared to send it! Check it!

“Johnny “Ice” Atencio popped up on our radar over a year ago when he put out some savage footage which welcomed him to the Shadow and Subrosa squads, but also included one of the biggest crank arm grinds I’ve ever seen, still to this day. Fast forward a year and a half later and Johnny is killing it harder than ever. Fresh off his move to Southern California he linked up with Fernando Olaiz for 3 months straight around the L.A. area and quickly stacked up this heater for The Shadow Conspiracy. Johnny is not scared and will make a quick snack out of that gap-to-rail you’ve been eyeing up down the street from your house, but that’s not all he can do. Get familiar with Johnny Atencio in this interview we cooked up, young ICE is just getting started…” – Ride BMX

“Volume Two” Dissected by Mike Mastroni

December 8, 2016

The “Volume Two” video from Volume Bikes is just a few days away and we’re definitely in for a treat. Since this video project should be pretty heavy, Ride BMX caught up with Mike Mastroni to get a little perspective on just what we can expect! Hit play and get real excited.

“Volume Team Manager and Videographer Mike Mastroni gives you the play-by-play of their soon to be released (Dec. 15th) “Volume Two” web piece… breaking down each dude’s section in a way that makes you appreciate the riding without even seeing it. (But we did pack this thing with behind-the-scenes footage). Filmed over the past year and featuring full sections from Boyd Hilder, Drew Hosselton, Brady Tweedy, and Eric Bahlman, this is sure to be a standout piece of BMX cinema that leaves you wanting to ride your bike, or watch it over again.”
