Bringing Home Stephen Murray

After 18 years in the United States and mounting medical bills since he became paralyzed in 2007, Stephen Murray has decided it’s time for him and his boys to make the move back to the U.K to be closer to family and live a more budget friendly life compared to living in California. Unfortunately this move will be pretty costly and he could use your help. Stephen has setup a GoFundMe page to help raise £10,000. If you have a few bucks to spare or at the very least have a second to pass this link along, it would go a long way to help Stephen out!

Nitro Circus – Backyard BMX with Legend Stephen Murray

Nitro Circus dropped this video featuring James Foster and mountain bike rider Dusty Wygle making their way over to Stephen Murray‘s yard for a little digging and a session. Bangers and Mash for Stephen Murray

This past weekend was the Bangers and Mash jam out at Stephen Murray’s place! There was a massive turn out and you better believe all of the guys threw down some serious bangers throughout the day! Check out this highlight reel Dylan Pfohl filmed and edited!

Stephen Murray Leg Movement

Holy shit, I just spotted this on Can You Dig It and my mind is blown. A few years back, Stephen was paralyzed from the neck down, but told everyone some day he would make his body work again… Then a few weeks back a video surfaced of him moving his arms on his own… Now today this video of him moving his legs surfaced! This is absolutely incredible. Stephen is making some progress that almost seems medically impossible, but dammit he’s proving it wrong! Hell yeah, Stephen!

“It’s been over 6 years since Stephen’s accident, sometimes with long periods of no real progress. The road to recovery was always going to be a long one.. Well this past week in rehab there were some huge progress made! A connection was made between Stephen’s quad muscles contracting to help him to extend his legs. A lot of effort and concentration required but positive sign’s and hope that this can be built on with determination and regular therapy. The video is a little slow to get going but a few minutes in you see the movements and the comments from the therapists. Stay Strong For Life!” – Stay Strong
