Whenever we see Steve Kolb‘s name pop up with a new edit, we know we’re going to see something unique and creative. Here’s his latest BMX video from the Chicago area filled with flatland clips he has been filming as of late, along with a mix of park and dirt clips in there as well. Steve’s flatland riding continues to progress and he delivers with plenty of real solid clips worth taking a peek at. Check it out!
“Chicagoland Bmx rider Steve Kolb (@krazy_kolb) unleashes his flatland skills to a new level; consisting of difficult spinning variations mixed with a variety of old school combinations. This edit features what may be the first, No Handed Spinning Miami Hopper, and a variety of boomerang and whip variations. All the clips captured in the edit were filmed at some of the most prime spots in the Chicagoland region during the Fall of 2019. This edit also features Steve in action during street and dirt bmx jams, in addition to performing at parades. Continuing his passion for bmx, Steve’s goal is to inspire others and compete in FISE World Bmx Series in 2021.

Steve Kolb – Light The Way
Over the past year, Steve Kolb has challenged himself to learning flatland. As many of you that have tried know, flatland is a whole different level and requires some insane balance and technical skills. Here’s a video Steve put together showing the progress he has made over the past year. It’s safe to say he’s learned a whole bunch of wild tricks and combos! Hit play and take it all in. “After 10 years of riding park and street, Steve Kolb dedicates a whole year to flatlanding where picked up a whole arsenal of combos in a short amount of time. This action packed edit includes Hop Decades (Steve’s signature Decadopper) to boomerangs, linked with turbine steamrollers, his signature Hiro Spin (named after his best friend Hiro Tsuchida), megaspin truck driver to opposite truck drivers and his one-handed miami wedge superman. “Steve Kolb AKA The Ramp Lander drops a creative edit with park and flatland riding combined which was filmed throughout the spring before starting his new career as a scientist in the petrochemical industry. Not only does he run experiments at his job, but also with flatland ramp combos in his free time. We’re always stoked to see what Steve Kolb is getting into. As of lately, he’s been putting in a lot of work to get his flatland riding dialed in and it is definitely showing. This video was made as a tribute to Chicago legend Hiro Tsuchida who passed away a few weeks back. Steve has always had a little more of an untraditional approach to BMX and it is what makes his riding so good. Hit play and take all of this in. You won’t be disappointed.

This past winter was a brutal one in the Midwest. Fortunately for Steve Kolb, he had the Asylum Skatepark to ride and keep the sessions going. Although it’s hot as hell out and summer, Steve decided to put his clips together from his winter sessions and whipped up this rad new edit.
