Etnies “Chapters” Premieres 8/18/17

The long awaited and anticipated Etnies “Chapters” video drops September 18th, 2017…

After a few years of filming (We think it’s around 3 right now), the Etnies crew are finally wrapping up their “Chapters” DVD that we have all been waiting to see! This BMX video will feature full sections from Ben Lewis, Devon Smillie, Nathan Williams, Chase Hawk, Aaron Ross, Tom Dugan and Chase DeHart getting down all over the world is bound to be nothing short of dialed. They have filmers Will Stroud and Mike Manzoori handling the majority of the film work and that’s a duo that you know won’t disappoint. Start counting down the days because September will be here soon!

Rockstar Energy – SoCal Road Trip

The Rockstar Energy team loaded up for a road trip around Southern California to explore street spots, skateparks, pools and trails all along the way! As expected, this is stacked with amazing riding from Dennis Enarson, Chad Kerley, Chase Hawk, Sean Sexton and Tom Dugan that you won’t want to pass up! Each guy brings a different style to everything they rode from technical street to speed and style, keeping things interesting from start to finish! Vans BMX Pro Cup Guadalajara – Finals Highlights

The Vans BMX Pro Cup stop in Guadalajara is a wrap and Jason Watts took the top spot! Below you have check out some highlights from the finals showing you what went down! Needless to say, there was no shortage of amazing lines and crazy tricks going down in the bowls. Below you can find Jason, Sergio Layos and Larry Edgar‘s top 3 runs, then you can check out highlights from the entire contest below that!

“Jason Watts had one of the best contest runs of his career making use of the course by locking in insane nose-wheelies from bowl-to-bowl and clocking massive tables and no-handers right in front of the judges tower. Watts earns himself his first podium finish in the Vans BMX Pro Cup series above Larry Edgar and Sergio Layos respectively.

“Larry Edgar had big plans for he Montenegro course and they paid off big time. Larry boosted some of the highest airs and transfers of the comp and muscled some big moves at the end of the run to earn himself a close second place finish on the podium, barely behind Jason Watts.

“Sergio Layos raced around the Guadalajara Vans BMX Pro Cup course popping lighting fast transfers with style and tricks on all parts of the massive Montenegro course earning himself a third place on the podium, his third top-three finish of the year.

“When the Dust settled from semi-finals, the top 18 riders were set loose to rip and shred on the enormous Montenegro park in Guadalajara, Mexico. Huge transfer, giant 360s and geometry that only works in BMX guided these desert pirates through the four huge bowls. The top three finishers were 1) Jason Watts, 2) Larry Edgar, 3) Sergio Layos.

Jason Watts Wins Vans BMX Pro Cup Guadalajara

Jason Watts takes the top spot at the Vans BMX Pro Cup in Guadalajara, Mexico!

The results are in and Jason Watts found himself on top of the podium for the 3rd stop of the Vans BMX Pro Cup stop in Guadalajara, Mexico! Jason took the podium with Larry Edgar in 2nd and Sergio Layos in 3rd place overall. This would be the 3rd time Sergio has landed on the podium keeping him in the top spot for the overall points for the series as well.

You could also find Tom Dugan on the podium for the Best Trick with an insane 360 Bowl Transfer. Jamie Cooper-Ellis took the Best Line spot with an elevated bank transfer into the deep bowl.

The Vans BMX Pro Cup has invaded Malaga, Spain for their 2nd stop of the year. The contest is going down at the Ruben Alcantara skatepark with some of the best Pro’s dropping in for some good times. Photographer Fernando Marmolejo was at Practice on Thursday and ended up catching a few rad photos of Dennis Enarson, Tom Dugan, Sergio Layos, Ben Wallace, Larry Edgar, Kevin Peraza, Jason Watts and more. The pros are rolling into Malaga, Spain for the 2nd round of the 2017 Vans BMX Pro Cup! With some of the best riders in the world planning to drop in on Ruben Alcantara‘s bowl, things are bound to get crazy. Odyssey BMX – Red Grandstand Pedals

The Grandstand Pedals have a fresh color option…

The Tom Dugan signature Grandstand PC pedals from Odyssey are now available in RED! The Grandstand pedal has a thin body that is 17mm thick at the center with a dual concave shape, 8 oversized molded pins per side and a 105mm width for additional room for your feet. Inside you can find unsealed bearings and a full size 14mm, heat-treated chromoly axle with 17mm wrench flats and a 6mm broach. These pedals are available in 9/16″ only (Standard size for BMX cranks).

The PC Grandstand pedals are available in Red, Black and Clear plastic bodies. If you prefer metal, they’re also available in an aluminum version with steel pins.

Odyssey – Litehouse Rim featuring Tom Dugan and Matt Nordstrom

Odyssey just dropped this short promo video for their new Litehouse Rim that dropped toward the end of 2016. The video featuresMatt Nordstrom and Tom Dugan putting the rim to good use, along with some of the specs and details on the rim, which you can also find below. These rims are available through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Odyssey worldwide now.

The Odyssey Litehouse Rim is both light and strong, with super-thick angled sidewalls to minimize the risk of damage when you hang up. The rim features a wider cross-section than normal to compliment modern tire widths. Designed as a semi-brakeless rim that can be run front or rear. When brakes are used, be sure to adjust the pads so they avoid making contact with the tire’s sidewall, as usual.
