Monday Night Football BMX Half Time Show

Last Monday, during the Monday Night Football game between the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Giants, there was a BMX demo that went down during half-time to keep the crowd excited and to help hype up the X Games that will be going down at the new Minnesota Vikings stadium in Minneapolis. Here’s two videos giving us a look at what the crew who were invited to do the show got into during the day (Chad’s video below) and some footage from the show up top (Dustin’s video). Can’t imagine what it was like riding in front of so many people!

This now sets the first ever action sports & BMX riding to ever go down in the new stadium… What will we see next?”

“Last minute call to fly up to the new Minnesota Vikings stadium to do demos and halftime show. Said YES before I planned anything out. Trouble could be I had to be back to work at my shop Mr. B’s by noon the next day. 3am up and direct flight made this happen. Bill Nitschke, Dane Beardsley, and my self did demos outside with the cheerleaders and drum line. My camera was not recording for the 1st and last show…so this is what I got…also sprinkle in some of my chadisradasadad snapchat and here is my 24 hours Monday night football. Thanks to ASA, Xgames, Rick, Bill, Dave Freimuth, and the whole crew for one wild time. Still wish it was the Packers but this being my first monday night footballI will take it. Game of B-I-K-E: Tristan Sagastume VS Jacob Theim

During the Nowear B.Y.O.B jam the other weekend, Tristan Sagastume and Jacob Theim got into a heated game of B-I-K-E fueled with some creative combos that they cooked up on a dialed ramp setup. Hit play and take it all in to see who wins!

This has everything from the basic slider to some crazy combos like footjam tailwhip to slider on quarters and plenty more. You’ll be hearing squeeks for the rest of your day though, haha.

The Factory – Minnesota Mayhem Team Contest Highlights

On December 20th, The Factory in Minneapolis invited everyone out for their first ever Minnesota Mayhem BMX jam and Team Contest that Kenny Short organized. It was definitely a different approach than most BMX contests in the world. The concept was pretty straight forward. Have six of the youngest riders at the contest take turns picking team mates of all ages and skills, then they would go head to head on three different sections of the park. Each team had their own jam, racking up points that would be calculated toward one score as a team.

Tristan Sagastume – 25 Creative Nose Press Variations

It’s pretty crazy how you can take a super basic trick, and combine it with a number of other tricks to make it into something more. Tristan Sagastume hit us with a link to a BMX video he put together with 25 different combos involving nose presses. Midwest BMX

Tristan Sagastume (TwisterX15) just dropped his latest Webisode over on his Youtube channel. He recently loaded up in his RV with his dad and took a trip out to Nebraska to spend some time riding with Karl Hinkley and the Nowear crew on their crazy compound filled with ramps! Check out some of the riding that went down during their visit! Good times for sure.
