United BMX – “Still United” Team Mix 2

December 22, 2017

The 2nd team mix from the “Still United” DVD now online!

The amazing sections from the “Still United” DVD continue to flow. Today we get a look at the second Team Mix section that features Ian Morris, Jimmy Rushmore, Dan Boiski and Jack Birtles out slaying street spots. Each of these guys bring their own style to this section keeping things real interesting from start to finish!

“STILL UNITED 2016
Filmed and edited by Peter Adam

“We’ve got another online premiere of the epic ‘Still United’ DVD – this time it’s just under four minutes of footage from United bossman Ian Morris, along with Jimmy Rushmore, Dan Boiski and Jack Birtles. There’s not many 40+ year old BMX company owners still smashing out massive rails and bomb dropping into street setups, but Ian Morris can’t stop himself! Expect mach-10 clips from Nana Rushmore, effortless rail manoeuvres from London’s mental spot map guide Dan Boiski and some loose ol’ shredding from Jack Birtles down-under. You can’t beat a bit of Killing Joke either! You’ve got to love a good team section, and this second one from STILL UNITED ain’t no normal mix!” – DIG

United BMX – Corey Martinez “Still United” Part

December 21, 2017

Corey Martinez’s section from the “Still United” video now online!

The United crew have been making your week awesome with the sections from their “Still United” DVD being released online. Take we get a look at Corey Martinez‘s section that is packed with a ton of bangers and some heavy slams he took while putting in the work. This section is loaded with big grinds, crazy wallrides, huge gaps and more, with rad spots and damn good film work. You already know Corey never disappoints, so get on that play button because this is a MUST SEE!

“STILL UNITED 2016

“Corey Martinez has been at the top of the game for ever now. It almost seems like he’s been using a cryogenic freezing process to allow him to keep putting out bonkers DVD sections time and time again. For his ‘Still United’ part he decided to mix things up and go away from the classic rock song format that he’s been used to (his intro will remind you of those old tunes and just how many bangers there have been) and straight up party on his bike with some Three 6 Mafia – we think it works a treat. Has anyone else put out this level and number of sections over such a long time? T-Nez is one of the greatest of all time and his ‘Still United’ section epitomises that longevity of pure savagery. Feast your eyes on the madness! We’re not worthy!” – Dig

United – Geoff Slattery “Still United” Part

December 20, 2017

Geoff Slattery’s section from the “Still United” DVD now online!

Here’s one we’ve been waiting for since United started releasing sections from their “Still United” video online! Here’s a look at Geoff Slattery‘s section that nothing short of an absolute banger. Geoff’s riding style and his ability to ride just about anything in front of him makes for so many crazy clips. Geoff is a beast and definitely not scared to send it! Hit play and enjoy this a couple times.

“A DIG Magazine caption once read, ‘watching Geoff Slattery makes my eyes watery!’, and how right it was. His section in ‘This Is United’ back in 2010 opened up with a massive bang (quite literally) and he then went on to grace our eyes with fast, creative and often downright scary riding. Well time goes on but nothing much changes when it comes to Geoff’s honors degree in bike control as you can now witness for yourself via this 48 hour online premiere of his new ‘Still United’ section. Enjoy the next five minutes and have those hankies ready. Incidentally, has anyone else noticed that Slattery is an anagram for the words ‘art’ and ‘style’…” ” – DIG

Next up is this mix section featuring some of United’s younger guys out there. Sebastian Anton, Fernando Laczko, Nico Terrez, Tom Deville, and Harry Mills-Wakley handle business in a big way.”

United BMX – Christian Rigal “Still United” Part

December 18, 2017

Christian Rigal’s section from United BMX’s “Still United” now online!

Yesterday we got a look at Jeff Kocsis’ “Still United” part, now today we get a look at Christian Rigal‘s section that is packed full of banger after banger of rail and ledge destruction. If you’re looking for grinds, this is the BMX video for you! Amazing riding, great spots and some damn good film work. This is an absolute MUST SEE.

“STILL UNITED 2016

“When you film for a full length DVD like ‘Still United’ it’s key to push the boat out and really make it count. Well Christian Rigal didn’t do just that, instead he blasted the boat down some fucking epic handrails at mach 10. It’s no secret the man like to grind but jeez, this really is something. From terrifying backwards rollercoasters, 30+ set peg grinds, and monster curved rails, this has all burly areas of modern day street riding more than covered. The man has definitely got a screw loose.” – DIG

United – Jeff Kocsis “Still United” Part

December 17, 2017

THey’re kicking things off with Jeff Kocsis‘ section that’s packed full of amazing riding and a bunch of laughs for good measure. This is too good to pass up, so get on that play button and enjoy!

“The Jersey Boy! We’ve been fans of this guy for years ever since he blessed the pages of DIG Magazine with his all black bike setup and East Coast chiller style. Watching Jeff Kocsis build his Still United section piece by piece was a pleasure and I’m sure you’ll agree he makes everything he does look just so. And you can’t beat that level of jive talk with many people – he’s your man for a hilarious time on the road.

Nathan Williams Is No Longer Riding For United

December 14, 2017

The 2018 sponsor news has been nothing short of surprising so far! United have announced that Nathan Williams is OFF the team…

Our NO FOREIGN LANDS venture to Lyon was @nathan88williams last trip riding for United. As you'll see from the edit, he still put in 110% into it, even though we knew he was leaving the brand. This is testament to who he is as rider and a person. He’s been with the United for 11 years, almost since the very first day. I can’t thank Nathan enough for what he’s done for us over the years. It’s been a pleasure and I wish him all the very best on his journey ahead. – @united_ian #unitedbmx #thanksforeverything

When it comes to sponsor changes, some are expected and some are pretty predictable… However, some are a complete surprise that we never would have imagined. It turns out Nathan Williams will be stepping down from the United team in 2018 after being apart of their team for the past 11 years! We’re not sure what sparked the decision, but it sounds like it was Nathan’s choice based off United’s Instagram post above. We will still see one last video with Nathan riding with United before he’s officially done, and we’re sure it’ll be a banger of a video, too. Does Nathan have a new deal lined up? We haven’t heard anything just yet, but it’s very likely… We can’t imagine a guy like Nathan not having a sponsor being one of the best street riders in the world! We’ll keep you posted when we learn more!

Update: You can check out the video from Nathan’s last trip here — No Foreign Lands: Part 1 – Lyon, France

Any guesses where he might end up? Let us know what you think in the comments below!

United – No Foreign Lands: Pt.1 Lyon

December 14, 2017

The United team spent some time exploring spots in Lyon, France and ended up with this amazing new video!

Here’s one that’s almost a bit bitter sweet! The United team made their way to Lyon, France to spend a few days exploring the city and stacking clips. The reason it’s a little bitter sweet is because this was the last trip Nathan Williams took as a member of the United team after 11 years of traveling the world with them. Needless to say, the team ended up with an absolute BANGER of a video that you can enjoy now! Amazing spots, excellent riding, dialed film work. You can’t pass this BMX video up!

“We’re excited to present this new video series from United, ‘No Foreign Lands’ that will run throughout the next year. The first destination was the heavily explored city of Lyon in France. Despite it’s well-ridden spots the United crew, consisting of Nathan Williams, Sebastian Anton, Corey Martinez, Harry Mills Wakley, Alex Valentino and Tom Deville put their mark on the city in a big way.

So, the beginning of this new chapter marked the end of another as United’s founder Ian Morris explain below, with some pretty big news:

“This was Nathan’s last trip riding for United as you can see from the edit, he still put in 110% into it, even though we knew he was leaving the brand. This is testament to who he is as rider and a person. He’s been with the United for 11 years almost since the very first day. I can’t thank Nathan enough for what he’s done for us over the years. It’s been a pleasure and I wish him all the very best on his journey ahead.” – Ian Morris / United Bike Co
