The other day, our friend from Chile, Tomas Fuentes, had hit us up with a few photos of his setup that he’s currently running for us to check out. We were loving the look of his bike and figured that you guys would be stoked on it too! We figured with him recently joining Etnies along with representing Odyssey down there, that it would be a good time for a bike check and to get some bonus questions to find out more about just who this guy is! We have a bit of an Anton Arnarson week going with the new 2014 Iceland Summer Road Trip video we dropped yesterday and now the bike check we’re about to get into here and we’re stoked! Anton has been kicking ass over in Iceland for the past few years and in that time we’ve been able to keep up with him through his videos. Brett Rohlfing recently made a trip over there to spend some time with Anton and figured he would grab a few photos of his current setup so you could get a closer look at just what he’s running these days! We tossed in some bonus questions to see what else is new with him as well… So let’s check this unit out already!

Kurt Hohberger Bike Check

Talking about myself is one of my least favorite things to do and generally I try to stay out of the picture as much as possible, but on very rare occasions there’s something worth posting up for you guys to check out. The other day I was fortunate enough to build up a fresh new setup after spending the past few years piecing together random parts when they needed to be swapped out or when a brand had asked if I wanted to test things out for them. Needless to say, my bike was a complete mix of parts that had spanned over the past 4 years or so making for a pretty weird feeling bike. I’m so thankful that the guys at Fly Bikes sent through a care package to get me dialed back in! Based off the photo above, you can see why I felt this was a good enough reason to show this off. The other day we caught up with our favorite front brake magician, Kent Pearson, and found out just build himself up a brand new Kink Titan setup. Darryl Tocco Bike Check

I don’t know if it’s obvious or not, but I’m a super big Darryl Tocco fan. Everything about his riding gets me so stoked from the beyond perfect barspins to the smoothest hurricanes in the business — It’s all so good. We recently caught wind that he would have a new signature colorway coming out for the Kink Titan frame and figured he would be building up a new bike soon. So we hit him up and sure enough he just built up a fresh ride not too long ago that was looking too damn good not to do a bike check. Roy Van Kempen Bike Check

One of the best things in the world is building up a new bike. There’s just something about having everything all dialed in and running smooth without any problems. The other day, Roy Van Kempen received a package from Federal with a frame and a TON of new parts to build up a fresh new setup. There’s something about a new bike that just gets people psyched on BMX. I don’t know if it’s the fresh clean paint or the chance to start over new with a bike that hasn’t been through hell and back or what, but it’s a nice feeling.
